Set of Two Fireplace Replacement Panels (24" H x 40" W)

Let me start by saying the service I received was excellent! Shortly after ordering, Mike contacted me to clarify delivery instructions and to make sure I had the proper contact info in case I had any questions or problems. Delivery was made promptly and I checked the panels as best I could without removing them from the pallet/cradle. When I removed the panels from the cradle, one of them was cracked and not usable for what I required. I contacted Mike and he had the manufacturer send a replacement, no hassle no fuss no hoops to jump through. I needed a replacement floor panel for my fireplace but they are no longer available. I ordered these panels and used the old piece(s) as a template. I laid the panel on a one inch thick of piece of foam board, then used a diamond blade on my circular saw to cut out the panel. Worked great! I then used a diamond blade on my angle grinder to add a beveled edge to match the old panel. Fit like a glove and didn't need any adjusting or re-cutting. I had read some people use a masonry blade on a circular saw to cut these, don't waste your time or money! Just get a diamond wet saw blade and cut it dry. Do it outside and don't rush it. Use a dust mask because it will make a lot of dust that you don't want to breath.Overall, I'm completely satisfied and would not hesitate to reorder.

I rebuilt my 40 year old wood burning fireplace in 8/23. I could not find any information on my fireplace and had zero luck finding a precast set that would fit my fireplace. So I purchased the two panels and cut them with a diamond saw blade (very easy). So here it is 3/24 we have had several fires in the fireplace this winter and the panels are in excellent shape, work great, very durable they look nice and I think the new panels cast off more heat into the room. Its a pretty big job relining a fireplace with new panels but you save a lot of money doing this yourself

Product cracked after one fire was made in fireplace. Not happy with the product at all. Arrived on time.

The description of the fireplace replacement panels 24”H X 40”W by 1 inch thick, and 2 panels. The problem is description. When sizing (cutting) the panels the thickness of the panels in some areas become as thin as 1/2”, if this was known before, sizing the panels would have been sent back to the manufacture.

Panels were delivered on a pallet with no obvious damage, packaged well. A few days later, I unpacked them and that's when I noticed that 1 panel was 1" thick and 1 panel was 3/4" thick. I was able to use the 3/4" thick panel for the back even though original panel thickness was 1". I would have preferred 1" thick panels but would've been WAAY too much time/trouble to return via private carrier. My advice: Check thickness upon delivery! There was also a visual blemish (looked like a crack that had been repaired) on 1 panel. I was able to work around both of these issues, mainly due to the fact that I had to order the larger panels and then cut to size with large area of waste planned. Basically, got lucky.

I needed one panel at least 38 in long for the bottom of my fireplace and another one at 24 in for the back. I was able to get two panels for less than the price of one 40" going this route. It was packaged with great care and arrived well within the shipment window. I had an estimate from a Chimney company for over double the price of these panels, and recently found out that in spite of some of the negative reviews regarding no wire inside, this panel is precisely what the Chimney company orders and uses! Measured twice, but still had to do several trim jobs on the cut, but was pretty easy to cut and work with using a diamond blade found easily at hardware stores. Please make sure to wear a good mask when doing so, though! The particles are very fine and get everywhere! Instructions from other sites say to light 6 curing fires before use, which we did. Everything looks good, no problems with instillation or after lighting. Have used for a week after the curing process - looks like will hold up with no problems!
