Aqua Training Bag 18" 120 Pound Heavy Punching Bag

This punching bag is by far the best bag I have ever used and the fact that it's filled with water makes it that much better. I first was introduced to this bag at my local boxing gym and after throwing just a jab followed by a straight right I immediately fell in love with it. There is a 21" Aqua bag which is the largest along with much smaller ones but this 18" is just perfect for me since I prefer my bags to move around when I punch them so that I can practice my leg and head movements a lot better. This bag is so versatile, so whether you're practicing your jabs, straight right/left punches, hooks, uppercuts, this bag handles it all, you can practice combos with ease and this bag is easy on your hands and wrists, so you are less likely to injure your hands while punching the bag compared to the traditional punching bag that may cause some injury if you hit it too hard and without the proper form. Another huge plus to this bag is that it feels like you're hitting the human body which is just great. Another plus and this is my personal opinion, is that I think it requires a lot less energy to hit this bag compared to the traditional punching bag, so since I've had this bag my workout sessions have lasted a whole lot longer than when I used to use a traditional bag, so that right there makes this bag so worth it. And the quality of this bag is superior, you will not be disappointed with this bag and it's very affordable in my opinion and I believe that this bag will last you for a very long time, much longer than the tradional heavy bag. I can't recommend this bag enough, I don't think you'll ever go back to the traditional heavy bag after trying out this amazing product. If you're considering on purchasing the Aqua Punching bag don't hesitate and just do it, make sure to purchase the hanging kit as well if you dont have something to hang the bag with already, you will not be dissapointed!

Cool bag, fun to hit

This is the best bag I ever used. I replaced my old Everlast with this bag and my workouts are awesome. I completed a workout and no one in the house heard a sound because of my setup below. My Everlast bag would be heard throughout the house especially in the kids rooms because they are over the garage. Now zero sound and no impact on support beams. ;-) Setup: - I reuse my existing hanging harness from my Everlast - Replaced chain with PerfectTech tie down straps - Added Aoneky 220lb heavy spring The only issue I had was the original plug that came in the bag arrived broken. Luckily it comes with a spare. I’m going to reach out to the seller to see if they will send me another plug. 18” 130lb worth it.

This has been the best addition to my shed-gym I've had the pleasure of buying. You will get wet during setup, especially if the bag is hanging up. Bring a bucket and a few towells. You'll be addicted to the way it takes your punches yet stands relatively unmoved by them. Your punching power will definitely improve and so will your kicking! This is a great back for front and skip side kicks (Bruce lee style). I can't wait to buy the head hunter, once I have more room in my shed/gym.

This bag will do everything that I need it to do. That said, I do not see this bag as a replacement for a traditional heavy bag. I’m using it as a strikable weight to hang from the bottom of a bungee mounted Virtec HAWK training dummy torso (like a BOB but with manipulable arms). The most obvious deficiency in using this ball shape in place of a heavy bag is its small size. There is absolutely no way that you could work low/high combinations. You are basically working against an absurdly oversized head. This may be fine for “cardio” boxing type training, but it is useless for actual combination training, and it is beyond useless for any type of kickboxing or other martial art that uses the whole body. Other reviewers have said that the bag is surprisingly hard, I have to agree with that. This ball when full of water gives impact resistance similar to a high quality sand-filled leather heavy bag. This is not a con in my opinion, but if you are accustomed to a soft foam bag like a wave master or similar you will likely be unpleasantly surprised. I would definitely not recommend hitting one of these bare handed, at least not for an entire workout once, once or twice while walking past it shouldn’t be a problem. Lastly, you should expect to make a mess filling this thing up. The hose nozzle that is supplied with the bag has no on/off valve. This means that you will need to either have someone standing outside next to the hose faucet (you can only fill it with a garden hose) or run back and forth turning the water on and off. Neither solution is ideal. I actually rigged a valve in between the hose and the nozzle and still spilled at least a quart of water. Overall, it is a good product but of very limited use in a gym and not versatile enough to be the only piece of equipment in your garage.

A great product! I use this exact bag in the boxing studio I have a membership at but wanted more flexibility to do it at home. I loved that there was an air inflation option that’s part of the water plug to get out any wrinkles. It’s a beautiful sight in my garage and I know it’ll stand up to the beating!

Trash bag. Don't bother with this and use a real punching bag. Nightmare filling it up. There's a plug inside the plug that cant be removed without pliers. The bag had a leak after a few hits and the material feels cheap.

This is my 4th home heavy bag and it's far and away the best I've owned. Not only is the bag density right on, but now we have uppercut training available. If you're looking for one bag for home, this it is. I'm 235lbs and even the 120lb bag doesn't move around too much. Great product! Highly recommend.
