Great Value
Zhou Hairfluence vitamins have been great! I first saw them at Sprouts, but they were very expensive, so I grabbed them here on Amazon for an awesome price. My hair has definitely been growing, though it takes time to notice the effects. I really appreciate the quality ingredients. The flavor does come through the capsules somehow when swallowing. I have found they appear to be effective. I have had no digestive effects.

Real Results - I am a Believer!
I began taking Hairfluence because of the many and consistently positive reviews - and this was after reviewing and comparing quite a few of the more "well-known" supplements that are hyped for their popularity. I also bought Hairfluence because the ingredients are natural, and the price is very affordable. I have been taking the supplement for approximately a month - whenever I began taking supplements CONSISTENTLY, I notice an improvement in about six to eight weeks. I am almost finished with my first bottle - I missed a day or two because we had to evacuate because of Hurricane Irma and when your'e living out of suitcases, sometimes nerves get frazzled and you forget! ANYHOO, although it has only been a month, I have noticed significant changes in my hair, and even in my skin and nails. First, I have very thick, Afro-textured hair. However, due to age, genetics, and medication, my hair began to thin around the edges and the crown and all the oils, deep conditioners and massages did very little to encourage growth and retention in these areas. So far, I have noticed that those trouble spots are filling in and growing. I usually wear my hair in an Afro puff, but this past week I was able to braid my hair down into two decent "milk-maid" style braids - without the aid of hair gel or pins to hold any hair in place. That in itself is a milestone for me because my hair usually grows so slowly. That, and it's usually difficult for me to retain length because of dryness, cutting damaged and uneven ends, etc. So, now that I actually have enough hair to tuck away, this will encourage me to wear protective styles more and, therefore, retain growth. I also noticed that my hair texture is more obvious, with a nice healthy sheen (of course I also use castor oil, jojoba, and shea butter are my go-tos). But overall, I notice a positive improvement in my hair health. I have fragile, brittle nails that split very easily. Since taking Hairfluence, I have noticed that my now nails grow in stronger and faster. I just ordered my second bottle yesterday. I'm not one to post before and after pictures, but I really love this product and am amazed at the results I'm achieving, so I may have to do that. I am also eating better - more green smoothies and "clean" foods, and I am taking a liquid supplement - these, I'm sure, in addition to the Hairfluence supplement, play a part in my hair and nail growth. I HIGHLY recommend Hairfluence! ***UPDATE 12.22.2017**** I should just get over myself and get a subscription for my Hairfluence, I love it just that much! I'm officially on my 4th (3rd bottle was a freebie offer to Facebook fans - yaaay!!!) bottle and can honestly say that I've seen remarkable improvement not only in the condition of my hair, but in the overall appearance of my skin, nails, and eyelashes. I am actually retaining length in my goal towards achieving longer, healthier hair. Of course, this requires incorporating better hair care practices, and I know that Hairfluence has played a huge part in the better condition of my hair. What I especially love about Hairfluence is the customer service experience. The good people at Zhou Nutrition not only stand behind they're product, but they are appreciative of customer support, and that really means a lot. The only downside, if this could be a downside (or minor inconvenience) is that wherever you have hair, it will GROW PROFUSELY. So, I find myself plucking my chin a little more, shaving under the pits more often, etc.

Honest Reviewer (Not paid, just obsessed with growing my hair out)
Okay! So, product came as described. No damages to the bottle, pills are in perfect condition. With that being said, here is my first review! I used to have bleached/damaged hair. Since then, I have grown my hair out to great lengths. I am TELLING YOU I am one of those women who have tried EVERYTHING that is natural and safe so far. My hair is below my shoulder blades, measuring 24 inches from my scalp to ends. I have oily skin, and a dry itchy scalp. It seems as though I have plateaued with hair growth or it has at least slowed down a little bit. I do regular trims, and regular hair oiling, I do NOT heat style my hair or wear damaging styles. Other hair vitamins seem to break my skin out; such as Hair Finity. Hair finity seemed to work a little bit, but wrecked my skin. I am taking these capsules because I want longer hair, and because I have recently become engaged, and want longer hair for my wedding. I am taking these capsules once in the a.m. with breakfast, and one at night before I go to sleep to acclimate my body to the pill, and keep a steady flow of vitamins in my body, so my skin won’t freak out. I will post a second update upon further review, once I reach the end of the bottle with my one month trial. Stay tuned for an honest review, the pros and (hopefully no) cons. :) **********UPDATE********** This is my one month update. I’m just about finished with the bottle. I AM SO SHOCKED. I am not paid, in any way shape or form to write this review. I had my fiancé measure my hair again, and it was shockingly 26 inches. That is 2 INCHES of hair growth in the matter of a little over 3 weeks. I am super shocked that this supplement has actually worked. I even had another friend do another measurement to make sure he was correct. Pros: Hair Growth, softer skin, stronger nails. Helped to relieve my itchy, dry scalp. Cons: I experienced slight headaches when starting to take these pills, but they subsided after about 1 week. You should eat something with these pills as they may cause nausea on an empty stomach. I hadn’t experienced any weight gain, because pills don’t make you gain weight. Calories from excessive eating will, but not pills. I neither had better nor worse skin problems. My usual monthly breakouts are pretty much the same. Overall, I love this product so far. I am going to give this product one more month. If my hair grows another 1-2 inches in the course of three weeks, I will continue to purchase. I will post another update after I receive another bottle.

Be careful with the amount/type of vitamin A. Can cause serious health issues. More tips...
What a product! I purchased a bottle for my lady. She is Romanian with beautiful black hair. I am the researcher in our relationship. She does the hard stuff and puts up with me. Her hair was damaged, thinning, and shedding. This product delivered as advertised!!! I am a big advocate for supplementation due to the average diet and low nutrient quality of processed, mass produced produce we ingest. Additionally, the chemically treated water we bathe and shower in requires us to be diligent in our body's ability to remain healthy. I am not paranoid, just practical. Our bodies are very resilient as long as we give it the tools to protect, rebuild and regenerate. I have her taking a high-quality multivitamin along with vitamin K2, magnesium glycinate, and one or two other supplements. When she expressed concern about her hair I delved into research mode and consumed tons of information. Biotin is often mentioned. However, I believe in a comprehensive approach to issues. This product not only contains biotin, but it also includes other co-factors needed for strong, healthy hair. After reading the ingredients the level and type of Vitamin A caught my attention. You see, this isn't the veggie based caratoid pre-cursor "A" that your body converts to the utilized version. This is the converted Retinyl Palmitate form of A, which is fat-soluble and stores in your liver for a long time. If you take too much, over time it can build up to toxic levels resulting in serious problems including permanent liver damage. I often stress more is not better as applied to supplementation. The upper limit of Palmitate A is 10,000 IU a day. Two of these pills contain 8000 IU. When I consider this is likely NOT the only source of A we ingest each day, I feel this dose is a bit high for long-term consumption. When I say long-term I am talking nine months or more of daily 8,000 IU intake on top of our other daily sources. I don't think 60 to 90 days or even six months would be an issue for any healthy individual. Photo 1 = Day 0 || Photo 2 = Day 26 || Photo 3 = Day 49 (approx. 2 weeks prior to this review) My Romanian princess took one bottle at the recommended does of two capsules per day. Within three weeks her hair was noticeable thicker, shinier, softer, and stronger. Also, in just three weeks her shedding all but stopped when she brushed or washed her hair. Within 30 days there was no mistaking the marked improvements resulting from this product and there is no more shedding. Please consider I have always had her on a quality multivitamin as well. So it may be a combination of everything she had been taking with this product being the missing link to healthier hair. After her first bottle I had her reduce the dose to one capsule per day and bought her a separate biotin (2500 mcg) to take with it for a total of 5000 mcg of biotin. We may experiment with taking two capsules every other bottle and only taking one capsule with added biotin every other bottle. Once we are where she wants her hair to be, we will look into dropping down to one capsule a few days per week (or every day) for maintenance along with her other supplements. Her hair looks amazing and it has grown just over an inch (it was already fairly long). Her nails are also growing much quicker (she tells me). She and I are very pleased with the results. TIP 1: Biotin can cause breakouts. I theorize sudden high doses of biotin over stimulate sebaceous glands, causing them to become mildly inflamed and/or over active. Just a theory. Whatever the case I have the solution, which is very simple. Start off with a low-dose of biotin for a few weeks. Don't just introduce thousands of mcg's to your system overnight. Allow your body to adjust to this increased supply after all of these years. Depending on the person you may get away with 1000 mcg, but even that may trigger a few deep painful bumps in some. You can purchase a bottle of 300 mcg instead. Take one per day for a week or so. Then double the dose by taking two per day for ten days to two weeks (600 mcg). Then triple the dose by taking three per day for two weeks (900 mcg). Don't rush it. Now your body is ready for the higher dosage. TIP 2: Personally, I don't see a need to take 10,000 mcg of stand-alone biotin. Instead, after you acclimate your body via TIP 1 (above) take two of these pills a day for one or two entire bottle(s), then drop down to one of these per day BUT also take up to 2500 mcg of stand-alone biotin with one of these either together or separately. Doing so reduces the chance of too much "A Palminate" yet provides you with up to 5000 mcg of biotin along with the other much needed co-factors for long healthy hair. Biotin alone requires massive doses to be productive. This comprehensive approach will yield better results. If you wish to be extremely cautious, you may consider taking only one capsule of this product per day (versus two) for the first week or two to see how it effects you. TIP 3: Don't forget your protein. Your hair will thank you for it. I am 6'1" at approx 210 ilbs. I eat two organic eggs each day for breakfast. I also consume a powdered protein smoothie about three days per week. Most people consume protein on a regular basis. So you are likely fine. TIP 4: How are your iodine levels? 100 - 300 mcg three or four days per week might be helpful for your hair. Do NOT go overboard with iodine. Also, watch your source as some brands contain heavy metals, which are bad for you. Pure Encapsulations is one of a few brands I trust at the time of this review. TIP 5: Consider installing a shower filter to remove some of the chemical cleansers out of the water you bathe in. I can recommend a couple that I read about in a nutrient book called "It's Not The Cans". They are very effective. TIP 6: If you are unsure about a seller, buy directly from the manufacturer, ZHOU. TIP 7: Always check the expiration date when buying from third party sellers. I really hope this product works as well for you as it is working for us. I am a real person with zero ties to this product, seller, or manufacturer.

New baby growth of hair since starting this . . . Coincidence or hairfluence?
Update: I had to stop taking it - it caused headaches. I tried taking it separate, in the evenings, from my other vitamins but headaches continued. I stopped taking it and headaches went away. So, I waited a few weeks and tried taking it every other day, and my headaches came back. I stopped taking it, headaches gone. I wish I could take it, as it seemed to help my hair and skin; however, now I'm eating fresh foods that have biotin and taking my BComplex and multi-vitamin and that ought to do it for me. It's not worth the headaches to pop a supplement. -------------------------------------------------------- Hair type: super baby fine Hair problem: hair was thinning and breaking and dull Hair result after 6 weeks of Hairfluence (assumption): new baby growth, way fewer hair in comb/brush, shinier hair I bought this on the suggestion of my new stylist to try extra biotin in my diet as my hair was breaking, dull, and I was losing strands of it in a way I never had before. I'm a big skeptic but figured I'd give it a try. My hair was a complete mess due to stress, over-processing (before I went to this stylist), and who knows what else. I am only taking 1 a day because I am already taking a multi-vitamin and a Super B Complex - those have biotin in them. And, as well, over the last few months I've been consuming milk every day, which has biotin in it naturally. I also eat healthfully. After taking the Hairfluence for about 6 weeks, I did *think* that my hair seemed to have grown a little faster, but that is something I can't verify for a sure thing. I can verify that it seemed to feel and look better. But when I went back to my stylist she said I had a lot of "new baby growth" to my hair. Yay! My hair does seem healthier and shinier, but that could be because I've had my stylist cut it shorter and we're putting in more of my natural dark color--or both. But the new baby hair growth, and me seeing way fewer strands in my comb, and none in my shower as I had been, are indicators I am doing something right to help the condition of my hair and to stop the shedding of hair, and to grow new hair. It's difficult to tell if it's the Hairfluence only, as I have been eating more kale, having that milk in my cereal (my nightly treat!). However, the fact is my hair looks a lot better, has new growth, and looks healthier and I have to assume at least some of that is the supplement. The first time I took it, I took it with all the rest of my vitamins and had a headache come on. Since I wasn't sure if it was the supplements, I tried taking the Hairfluence separately - later in the day - from the other vitamins and didn't have a headache after ingestion of the Hairfluence. I will say that I continued not to have a headache for several weeks, but they are back - and I can't be certain if it's my vitamins or something else. I could try taking some of my vitamins every other day, including the Hairfluence, and see what happens. I would have to assume my better hair condition is a combination of my healthy lifestyle, new cut, using more low-lights and fewer highlights, and the Hairfluence, however, since I have always eaten rather healthfully and have been taking the other vitamins for quite some time, the only different element is the Hairfluence and new stylist. So, that would lead me to conclude that the Hairfluence is having at least some effect on the condition of my hair and its new baby growth of hair. I would continue to take only one a day, since as I wrote above, I am already taking vitamins that have B vitamins/biotin in them, and eating foods that contain biotin/vitamins in them as well. As long as I don't have side effects from the vitamins I take, and can keep the money in my budget to purchase them, it won't hurt to continue the Hairfluence. That new baby growth does encourage me!
O**!
I’m a total skeptic, and this stuff actually works. Medication-related fall out has completely stopped.
I was really hesitant to buy these because I couldn’t imagine that this combo of some pretty ordinary vitamins would be any different than the zinc/biotin combo I was taking. It is. I first noticed that my hair seemed oilier. It’s not a huge issue because my hair is bleached. The added moisture/oil seems to help it feel softer and more manageable. I have not noticed tremendous growth yet, as I’m not through an entire bottle. I am leaving this review earlier than I normally would as I am incredibly relieved to note that my medication-related hair loss has stopped. FINALLY. I take a common anti depressant, Wellbutrin, and an occasional side effect can be hair loss. I got it in a big way, and in the past two years have lost 1/3 of my hair. As my hair was originally incredibly thick, this is not a deal breaker but I worried that time would leave me balding more and more. After three weeks, my fall out has ceased. I’m seeing more of a result with this stuff than devoted nioxin use and have discontinued my use of their products. I have noticed some minor break outs with this. I think this can be expected in acne prone people. I was treated with accutane so, I’ve stepped up my skin care regime and they’re under control. I do not recommend slacking on skin care if you are acne prone and using this. So far, so good. I’ve taken before photos and will update in a few months with pictures. You’ll notice improvements with your nails and skin radiance with these too, but those are incidental to me. I’m just relieved my hair has stopped falling out. UPDATE: I’m 3/4 through my second bottle of these and my hair has grown quite a bit. Fall out is greatly reduced. This has helped my nails and hair and lashes grow, like crazy, but my acne has kinda returned. I am able to battle it back with meticulous skin care but, wow. This has made my 39 year old skin pretty oily. I’ve had a large cystic pimple show up ON MY BACK! Gah!! I’ve started using a salicylic acid moisturizer on my back and bum and I am devoted to twice weekly peels with a deceim product. I’ve also added Nail Envy OPI to my routine and my nails look amazing. I plan to add before and after hair pictures in a few weeks. This stuff, despite an increase in sebum, has saved my traimautized hair!

Hair loss solved! Not with this tho. And it smells like butt
Writing a comprehensive review on a bunch of hair loss products in the hope it will help people in my same situation! Started losing hair as a 16 year old girl. By 26 I had maybe 20% of what I had growing up. It was debilitating. I have tried every single possible thing for it, a lot of items from Amazon. MY HAIR STOPPED FALLING OUT AND IS GROWING BACK! FIRST: Go see a doctor! Even if it's just your primary care doctor. Ask for a preventitive full blood count test. I wish I would have done this years ago. Turned out I was deficient in 3 nutrients: vitamin B, vitamin D and iron. Surprise surprise these are the top contributors to healthy hair! Also (not sure for men), but ladies, go see a dermatologist as well. They may be able to prescribe something like spironolactone to help your hormones adjust which could be a leading cause in your hair loss. Nutrafol: My hair STOPPED falling out after about 2 months on multivitamins + iron supplements +Nutrafol (nutrafol recommended by my dermatologist). Not sure if it's the Nutrafol that is working wonders, or if it's a combination of that plus other stuff, but I'm not planning on stopping it. Minoxidil/Rogain for women products: used these for a decade. Never did anything for me. However the dermatologist recommended I keep using minoxidil after I started taking supplements so imma keep using them even though they legit did nothing for me. Laser helmet: this thing actually works. I used it for about a year before discovering my nutrient deficiencies, and even without taking multivitamins and such, I definitely noticed a decrease in hair fall. I'm going to keep using the laser helmet because I truly believe this stimulated hair growth. Dont get the laser comb, its worthless. Get the helmet. Nioxin: I'm very confused around how this product works. I think it just makes existing hair stands thicker? - Shampoo is not bad - The spray stuff in the foam format sucks. It just does. It leaves your hair super crusty and I dont see the benefit if it - The dry shampoo is amazing for volumizing and making your hair look thicker 10/10 reccomend. A product I used in a similar fashion was l'oreal root cover up. It kinda stains your scalp and makes it less noticeable. Highly reccomend that too if you want to be more confident about your hair. - All other sorts of "hair growth" topical products that are not minoxidil. If you actually have hair loss from the scalp (not just breakage of damaged hair) these dont work. They just dont. I've tried so many different things, argan, coconut, olive oils, lemongrass, essential oils, deep masks, "hair fertilizer", etc. I'm just gonna give these 0 stars because they do not work if you are experiencing real hair loss. They are great to make existing hair healthier, but too many of these products either market towards "hair loss", or legit say "give us a 5 star review we will send you an amazon gift card" and so the reviews are all skewed and wrong. I feel like someone needs to post a truthful review about them and say they do not actually work for hair loss, they are just hair conditioners on steroids Lastly, if you have the money for it, look into PRP therapy for hair loss. Dont go to weird pyramid scheme "bosley" or "restore". Just talk to your doctor or dermatologist about it.

Amazing Product that Not Only Greatly Improves Hair Quality, but also Skin and Nails
This product definitely works very well. It not only drastically improved the quality of my hair and decreased my hair loss problem; but it also seriously improved a life-long skin condition of mine. Turns out that the vitamins for hair usually also have positive effects on skin and nails. After only about a week, I saw a definite improvement in my nails. They were stronger, smoother, and have a stronger natural shine. After about the 3-4 week mark, my hair was stronger, softer, and definitely didn't fall as much in quantity. The MOST surprising and wonderful part was that my long-term skin problems started to decrease to the point of almost being gone! I have the life-long condition of hidradenitis, which causes painful cysts or infections in random places on my skin. I used to face an infection every 2 weeks. After a month of starting these vitamins, I haven't had an infection in almost 2 months now!! I must've been missing these vitamins/minerals in my body thus causing my hair and major skin issues. This product has made my quality of life better by removing the daily pains of rashes and infections that I used to have. I would recommend this product to anyone who faces long-term hair or skin issues. You may just be lacking some very important vitamins and minerals that Hairfluence definitely takes care of. They have also been highly ranked by Labdoor, so you can trust their validity and reliability. Definite strong recommendation from my end! Update: My parents both started taking Hairfluence after my recommendation. It's been a couple months now, and we all have seen drastic reduction in hair falling during our showers. My mother used to leave the shower drain full of hair, but lately she hasn't even noticed hair falling at all! Just an amazing product with serious results.
