Harry Potter Coloring Book

Good! I got this as a gift for my mom, who loves Harry Potter. Decent quality paper, thick enough to color without fear of ripping or tearing. Comes with many pages of iconic characters and scenes from the book and movie series.

I bought this for my son, but I use it just as much as he does. The pictures are awesome and a must have for any artsy Harry Potter fan.

Does this even need a review? Is it even worth writing?! I will though, because I feel I owe that to this coloring book. I am, and have been since 1999, a die hard Harry Potter fan. I'm 26 now, and I still love it just as much as I did in 5th grade, so when this coloring book came out, two thoughts came to mind: 1. This is going to look awesome in my collection! 2. I can't wait to color the heck out of this book! (I used censorship, you're welcome Amazon). I received my coloring book yesterday, no thanks to UPS and their delayed delivery which had me on edge all weekend, but that's neither here nor there, so back to the coloring book....I colored one picture last night using watercolor markers and OMG IT IS THE BEST LET ME TELL YOU, I CANNOT GET OVER HOW AWESOME THIS BOOK IS! The pictures are really detailed, the paper is thick and prevents markers and pens from bleeding through, and the selection of artwork is phenomenal. This isn't just some kids coloring book where there are large pictures on crappy quality recycled paper, this is thick cardstock like pages with intricate details and elaborate designs. For less than $10, you can relive the magic too. The book comes with colored pictures in the back and movie stills so you can reference if you're looking to get authentic coloring in. I'm ordering another just so I can have a mint uncolored one to keep in my collection.

I was overjoyed when I found out my sister was purchasing this for me for my birthday. I am an absolute Harry Potter fanatic. But what is funny is that I had never even thought of the idea of Harry Potter coloring books, which is absurd! Okay, so here is my review, I will add pictures later. The cover of this book is beautiful and it gives off a good magical vibe with the gold and the stars. The paper seems the be of good quality but the pictures are printed on both sides so it would be hard to use any type of markers with it. I really enjoy the pictures included in the book. There is a review below mine that stated one page looks like a 3 year old drew it, which is kind of true, but that is only part of the picture. The entire picture takes up two pages and is of Xenophilius Lovegood falling back into his door at his home and the really odd pictures of the little poorly drawn creatures almost adds to it since he is not a normal type of wizard. There is also a picture of the dancing trolls with tutus and nipple piercings, which again is silly, but it is Barnabas the Barmy teaching them how to dance! The picture that the other person posted is not the whole picture again, it is semi closed and so you cannot see Barnabas. I enjoy the full color photos and concept art in the back of the book, it helps give me inspiration and I love to explain to my daughters who each person is. As of right now, the only reason I did not award this five stars is due to the Ravenclaw not having the correct animal. Which upsets me, because if you can include Barnabas the Barmy teaching trolls how to dance, why can you not double check to see if you have the correct animal with the correct houses. A quick Google search could have fixed that one. Anyway, I will post pictures and if my children ever give me a second to sit and relax I will get to really enjoy the book and finish the two pages I have started so far!

I gave this Harry Potter coloring book as a gift, and they absolutely loved it! The illustrations are detailed and fun, perfect for fans of all ages. It kept them entertained for hours and is a great way to relax and get creative. Highly recommend for any Harry Potter fan!

The pictures are very detailed with lots of things to color. I'd say this is probably more for teens/adults. Might be too complex for kids

The pages are cream colour and fairly thick but seepage from some types of ink through the paper is also possible. Some issues with the layout of the several illustrations covering the two-page spreads, making colouring difficult due to the center book binding. There are original full colour photos and pictures section from the movie scenes at the end of the book for colouring reference to imitate or follow. A nice book for HP fans with many wonderful graphical illustrations.

正直、すごくかわいい！とは思わないのですが、ハリーポッター好きの娘には 大変ツボらしく、『このぬりえ、ほんとうにいいよねえ。どうやってつくったんだろう』と、塗るだけではなく、映画のシーンを回想したりもして楽しんでいます。
