Audiophile Approved !
Added four 1" hemispheres per stand to my API monitor stands to isolate the Elac UB5. Stands are already on spikes that are perched atop 2" thick Bamboo butcher blocks that also have 1.25" cones for isolation on a carpet over suspended floor. The stands had a slight resonance at certain frequencies still so I figured on decoupling the UB5 from the API top plates. The Platinum Silicon Hemispheres seemed like a good choice. Added the set of eight to the top plates and positioned the speakers back on top and sat down to do some samples that I had just listened to prior to the Hemi's. I consider myself an audiophile who is also a musician so I know when I hear a difference in my rig. The Elac UB5 are quite impressive at their price point and have been a alternate choice when I take a change of pace from either the Vandersteen's or the JSE Infinite Slopes here. As impressive as the UB5s are I was shocked at the "next level" sound that occurred by simply adding the HudsonHiFi Hemispheres. Mid-bass and bass both improved with less decay muddying up bass guitar, floor toms and bass drum. This also improved what was already a pretty decent performance from the concentric mid/tweeter driver Elac uses in the Uni-Fi series. Noticeable improvement in clarity over several octaves and instruments. After listening for hours I went and felt the stands for resonance in the columns, nothing there now. These HudsonHiFi Hemispheres are doing exactly what they were prescribed for, vibration isolation. Very impressive performance considering I've purchased some very expensive coupling and decoupling devices in the past that were magnitudes more money. This is for sure not the last purchase I make from this company. I look forward to testing their other products in my system.

Just the right foot I'm looking for!
These work great for my subwoofer. Nice and thick. Fits perfectly under the speaker. Very sturdy.

Good isolation but not very sticky...
I like the elastic nature and shape of these pads. However I'm not happy with the adhesion side of things. Due to the nature of silicon ("oily" surface) the sticky tape comes off the actual pad very easily, whereas it will (continue to) stick like mad to the underside of my speakers. Hard to get off, actually. Sort of exactly the opposite of what you want. Also when installing the paper is hard to get off the sticky stuff and sometimes rather than just pulling off the paper you pull off the whole sticky tape. Nonetheless I have ordered, and kept ordering these over and over again as from a sound isolation perspective they are awesome for speakers, subs, amps and other audio equipment!

Great at Decoupling Speakers & Subwoofers -- Excellent Value Compared to Much More $$$ Options
Writing this review in case anyone else out there is as torn as I was about finding a good way to isolate and improve the sound of a 2.1 system siting on hard surfaces (desk & tile floor). After a lot of research -- I settled on trying the 16 pack of .75 feet figuring it would either be a good decision or a cheap education validating the worth of much more $$ options. My first thought was the right one...what a good decision. These are easily worth 2-3x the cost compared with other options. Compared with SVS sub feet @ $50 for 4 or IsoPucks @ $200+ for 4 -- these are an INCREDIBLE value & they do the exact same thing for less than $15. Have 4 feet on each large bookshelf speaker (a pair of Polk RTI6's) and 4 on a 30lb custom sub (10 in running at 300w). Speakers sound clearer and have a more expansive soundstage. The sub got the biggest improvement though. Before it was rattling the walls, doors, and wood floor above on the opposite end of the house. Now it can be about 20% louder with no rattle. Still a little resonate noise coming from all the air moved in 25 x 15 room, but that is unavoidable with that much low end. TL;DR: These are very effective at a fraction of the price of "Premium" products that can't possibly offer much more improvement. Get these and save some $$.

Works well and good bargain
Bought a vintage cassette deck with a missing foot. Easy fix here. I’ve also used in past with good results

I wish I knew it sooner.
Just got it and set it up right away. Seriously, the first note hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not even kidding, it sounds a hundred times better now. Before this, the bass was vibrating all over my 3-drawer chest and just muddying up the mids and highs—it sounded like some cheap piece of junk. Now, it finally sounds like it’s worth every penny. (I mean, it's not some crazy high-end setup, but still...) Man, I should've done this sooner.

You don't need to spend a mint to get isolation...
What can I say, I bought these on a whim... $12.99 and when I tried them out they did a better job than my Black Diamond Racing Cones and platforms combined are more than 15x the price!!! I did a vibration test to find there is a significant difference. If they are not in stock at Amazon, wait until they fill the stock, otherwise the extortionists come out of the woodwork to charge 3x the price (or more). I have tried just about every type of isolation feet that Hudson HiFi had and they are two things... The best for the buck and the best you can buy... no need for fancy gimmicks. Update: A few months later and I have purchased a range of Hudson HiFi isolation feet... Got them under everything, stand components, speakers and isolation transformers... All working great and very happy with purchases...

Simple fix for speaker isolation and improved sound
Although expensive for what they are, these little domes are brilliant and a bargain for what they do. I'd used their bigger version (1" diameter") on some small monitor speakers I have hooked up to synths in my studio, mostly to keep noise transmission to my neighbours reduced to a minimum. I noticed an immediate difference in the clarity of the polyphonic voices on one of my synths as soon as I tried them out. So, I thought, let's see what the same can do for my hifi... I can't use stands in my speaker set up, so isolating the speakers from their base was the only sensible option. They were stuck at the corners of each of a pair of 8" Mordaunt Short speakers I've had for years, fed from a mid range Denon amp and CD player, which I've also owned for years, so I know the sound from them very well. Not bottom end gear, maybe the low end of mid-range, certainly not esoteric bank balance punishing separates. To test them out, I put on an ambient album by Basis, which has plenty of bass, mid range and treble, as well as reverb and decay. I'm very familiar with this both on headphones, quality in ear buds and speakers. Wow, what a difference. Although I've not got an optimal stereo set up due to renovations, the increase in stereo separation was immediately evident, as was the improved clarity of reverb and delay effects. Likewise the clarity of each of the instruments, especially the quieter passages. Very, very impressed by the difference they've made, wish I'd bought them years ago. I'm sure there are more expensive solutions that squeeze another few percent out of hifi gear. But for diminishing returns, I'd question the additional cost, speed and convenience of anything considerably more expensive. In summary: Excellent at what they do, and your neighbours have less chance of hearing your music. For the price, a bargain. Recommended.

Probado en echo show 10 y echo show 8
