Can't beat the sound if you don't want to run an amp

Upon opening the Amazon box I discovered that these speakers are 3 way speakers not 4 way speakers!The speaker wire that comes with these is very sub par. Compared to my Pioneer speaker wire, the copper bent extremely easily and made for a tough time to get the copper into the butt connector, and if you plan to solder connections it will definitely be an even bigger pain. Minus another half a star.They do sound good (Nice mids and highs with stock head unit) and are definitely worth the price, but make sure to upgrade from your stock head unit to take full potential of this pair of speakers. The bass WILL be weak with a stock head unit. So spend the extra cash and order a head unit with these, and keep in mind that this is 3 WAY not 4 WAY. Distortion occurs at high volumes but I suspect it is my stock head unit is the culprit because my Pioneer 3 ways also sounded distorted.UPDATE: I replaced my head unit and now these sound FANTASTIC!UPDATE: Amazon has updated their listing to Three-Way

Received defective speaker, No bass coming out of 1 of the speakers, contacted Amazon, replacement set of speakers was sitting on my door step next morning. Excellent Customer Service on this one! Replacement speakers work Great!!!

These really aren’t very good. They are super quiet unless you give them a ton of power, then they lose clarity in favor of bass response.These things DO move a bit of air, but it just doesn’t sound good. There are better options in the same price range.The overall quality just isn’t there. The baskets are plastic, the magnets are pretty small and the output is quiet, and low quality.

These sound great with the 9" screen headunit I just installed. They are also look to be excellent quality for the price. I cut apart the stock speakers and glued these to those frames with urethane caulk. If you don't want to do that, get an install kit.

I bought the speakers and they were working good for about three weeks and then one of them blew. Don’t waste your time on removing the entire piece of your car just to install these just buy better speakers.

This review is for two models of Pyle car speakers I bought for my 2004 Nissan Titan in Mar 2023.Model PLG6.3 Three Way Speaker System - Pro 6.5 Inch 280-Watt 4 Ohm andModel PLG69.8 Eight Way Speaker System - Pro 6 x 9 Inch 500W 4 OhmAfter a long wait due to the weather or busy schedule, I was finally able to install the stereo and speakers in the truck. For ease of installation of the Model PLG6.3 on the rear doors I use RED WOLF Aftermarket 6.5-inch Speaker Adapter Spacers Ring Bracket Mounting and Speaker Wire Harness. The Model PLG69.8 did not fit well, but slight modifications to the OEM spacer (cut the back side and top lip) and done. The sound is amazing, there is plenty of sound from these speakers that you can feel in your skin and in your ears. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Gestern endlich dazu gekommen diese zu verbauen.Was soll ich sagen? Richtig guter Klang zu einem sehr guten Preis. Obwohl ich mich für eine Retourware entschieden habe ( kosteten nur 27€) kann ich mich nicht beschweren.Einbau einfach aber was will man da auch falsch machen?Werd mir definitiv nochmal welche holen und somit alle alten Lautsprecher durch Pyle ersetzen.
