Easy to use and works well. This is the first electric can opener I have ever used. I've always had manual can openers. I'm really glad I got this to replace my can opener that stopped working plus the manual ones are so hard to clean and get all gunged up. I think it's safe to use as you don't need to hold it or mess with it. The lid comes off with a smooth edge around the can and you can placed on top of the can if you have any left overs in there and because of the way it's trimmed around the edge, it can be used to cover left over food as a lid. This is really good value for money and I won't be going back to manual can openers again. This can opener is easy to store away, mine is in the curler drawer.

This Mama auto electric can opener makes my life so easy as I have osteoarthritis in my hands and fingers which leaves me with no strength in the fingers as bent and knobbly, I saw this and thought I would try it out, So glad I did as is so easy to use, I take note of where it starts on the can and if it goes over l press the button again and it will go into reverse and you can hear a slight click when it’s done and it takes the lid off. Perfect cut to the can and no sharp edges. Have used this to open 15 cans and worked perfect every time. Packed really well and I store it in the bottom part of the box to keep it safe. Already used a few times since purchasing and is very easy to use. The blue is a nice colour too, big improvement from our old can opener that hasn’t worked properly for years. Only reason have put 4 stars is because it’s a bug bear of mine that new items don’t come with batteries for first use, otherwise would be 5.

This is a great product, easy to use, easy to clean and functional. It really helps in the kitchen as you can start the opener going and you know by the sound when it's opened the Can. It also has a magnetic part that enables you to remove the Can top and it leaves a smooth edge.

Great can opener, after comparing many. It is so good I thought it had not worked till I picked it up to reveal a very smoothe cut at the top of the can, so very impressed. Lovely bright colour, works perfectly especially as my last one, quite a few years old had become very slow and noisy. So very happy

Sadly, there are a few reviews saying this can opener doesn’t work. Honestly, most of those complaints likely come from people who didn’t read the instructions or struggled to grasp how it operates — probably not the right angle for “Bob.” This device is fantastic and will quickly become your girlfriend’s new Bob. But there are a few key things to be aware of: 1. Starting Bob: Place the opener on the can and press the button — don’t hold it in place. Let Bob do the work. I saw a video review where someone completely misused it, clearly without reading any instructions. 2. Stopping Bob: To turn it off, press the button again and wait 2–3 seconds. It stops on its own. 3. Short Skirts Warning: If the can has a very short “skirt” (the curled edge), Bob might struggle. You may have to restart it once or twice. I only ran into this issue once, with a John West mackerel ring-pull tin. Aside from that, it’s a beast — cleanly opening cans by separating the lid at the curl. I've tested it on baked beans, tuna, corned beef, and fillet tins. Only one tin gave it trouble, and even then, it nearly managed it. Why I bought it: Every manual can opener I've ever had eventually failed — working once or twice, then twisting out of shape or just becoming useless. This thing works every time. Highly recommended. Just follow the instructions and Bob will never let you down.

After first use, I think it’s a great product. It looks well-made. Hope it lasts long. Only thing is it doesn’t come with batteries but overall happy with the purchase.

Por el momento ha sido una buena experiencia. Tenía mis dudas por no ver opiniones de México, pero me ha funcionado como promete. Algunas veces no abre bien una lata, pero se soluciona facil al poner nuevamente el abrelatas en la sección que no se termino de cortar y listo (tener cuidado que no de vueltas de más porque puede dejar "pelitos" del aluminio, no me ha pasado, pero es lo que recomiendan). Apróximadamente he abierto unas 20 latas desde que lo tengo, actualizare si me llega a fallar o me causa algún inconveniente. El material es aceptable, se siente resistente para algunas caidas y el uso es bastante sencillo. Realmente no deja partes afiladas ni en la lata, ni en la sección que se desprende.
