Is this suitable for an active 4 year old boy?

I bought this for my 3 year old Granddaughter. She likes it, but gets bored of it. The way this fid together means there are limits to what you can do with it. It's good for the price, but there are better magnetic toys out there, with a much wider range!

Would these be suitable to keep a toddler entertained on a plane?

Most definatly, they're in a small box that can be held in and they're a nice compact size

Would these suit a 2.5yr old with autism?

I'd say that it's a bit fiddly for a 2.5 year old WITHOUT autism. Depends on his hand control and if he has an obsession with matching colours or making straight lines it probably wouldn't be suitable .
