When taking a sip, the liquid will drip out from under the lid. I put in a warranty claim, got a new replacement, and it has the exact same problem. This is what I got from Snow Peak customer service after the 2nd lid was leaking too: "I reached out to our Headquarters in Japan about this issue. The lid for the 450 mugs will fit each of the models; double wall, stacking mug, single wall, all a bit differently. The stacking mug and single wall mug will be the most secure fit for the lid and the double wall will be a bit loose. We are sorry for this inconvenience." So it's a lid with a loose fit. Or as regular people would say, a lid that doesn't work. Disappointed in the sideways talk and the Customer Service from Snow Peak. *** EDIT *** The Klean Kanteen lid is perfect.
