Myojo Japanese Style Instant Udon Fresh Noodle (Pack of 30)

These little udon packets are the cat's pajamas. Completely shelf stable (unless one gets a hope poked in it. Oops!) and single serving size. I use two for my husband and I and there's usually enough leftovers for my lunch the next day. But the absolute best use is for camping. They're little, pack well and don't need refrigeration.

I expected the product to look like the image. But it arrived in a Labeled box with generic looking packages of noodles. The product hasn't changed from my previous purchase. But I was expecting a label on the packets of noodles. The flavor is the same from my last purchase and I'll continue to order these as I run out. Instant udon was a staple for me growing up and this product really reminds me of my childhood. Pair it with the Hon tsuyu, togarashi, bonito flakes, and your special meats and it's a winner!

While growing up (a long, long, time ago) we had the Sanyo Udon Noodles with the soup base. It wasn't the greatest back then due to the powdered soup base. The noodles, however was just right. This Japanese style noodles is just what I remembered them to be. And combined with the suggested hon-tsuyu, it is just the best. We'll have them with some togarshi and katsuoboshi next. This will be our go-to breakfast going forward. Excellent!

Fair price for quality product. Found it odd that there were only two packages of soup base for all the packages of noodles. Definitely need to get soup base to noodle ratio adjusted. (1 base for each package of noodles)

I only received 2 flavor packets for 10 packs of noodles. This must be an error

I liked the wide noodles better then the ramen

My family loves Asian foods of all kinds, but especially noodles. These however, were inedible. The first thing said by two people in the family is " these taste like play doh!" Yes, they taste like play doh. Highly disappointed.....

You will need to eat 2 packets to have a good sized portion, however. Price is a bit high now.
