Revivex Rubber Boot Treatment

It makes used rubber boots look like they’re new again! I’ve used my rain boots for a few years, but they started to get tired-looking. I sprayed this wonderful treatment on, and it restored my boots to a new-looking condition! It also helps keep the rubber from drying out and cracking, and so far it’s done that. I love this stuff! I live in the PNW, so rain boots are par for the course. I highly recommend this product!

I wish I would have done before and after pictures! This stuff made my old xtratuf boots look fantastic again! I wear these boots almost daily in the Pacific Northwest and they were looking rough even though they are still in great condition. As expensive as xtratuf boots are (worth every penny), I decided to give this Rubber Boot Treatment a try. Easy application, dried quickly, and two weeks later my boots still look great! I will update this review if anything changes, but I am currently very happy with this product.

Put some life back into a pair of thirty year old Sorel boot. Will buy again.

I have a pair of Xero Gracie boots that are a few years old, and they've slowly started to dry out and get the dreaded white bloom. After spending a couple weeks on the porch in the sun this summer, they got dramatically worse. Reddit pointed me in the direction of this product, and so far I'm cautiously optimistic! I treated just one boot to get an accurate before and after - it's taken 3 treatments and they definitely aren't back to new, but they're much more supple and the bloom is gone. This is definitely a conditioner versus a sealant - I may be on the lookout for another product to try in addition to this one to hopefully seal up the cracking in the rubber. Overall I'm really happy though, and I'm hopeful that this will extend the life of my boots for at least another couple seasons. And next time, I'll start conditioning from the beginning instead of waiting until I have a major problem!

I had very low expectations, but this product completely exceeded them! My 20-year-old Hunter boots had developed heavy bloom from sitting in the garage for years and were cracked in multiple places. I honestly didn’t think they could be saved—but this worked! After cleaning the boots with dish soap, I applied two coats a day for 3–4 days, and the results were incredible. They look so much better—almost like new. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos!

Works great. I use it on all my rubber shoes. For pans, anything to do with food, however, don't use that. I'd use a bit of olive oil.

Revivex rubber boot treatment works really well. The sponge does leave spots. I applied two coats allowing at least 15 minutes drying in between. After the second coat I put some product on a Scott shop blue paper towel(lint-free) and went over everything to remove the spots. If you use a dry paper towel you will remove a lot of product. My boots are fairly new and in good condition, revivex left them nice and shiny. Hopefully it will make them last longer. Before and after picture should be easy to see the difference. Didn't notice any smell from the product. Went over everything with a dry Scott paper towel after 1 hour. Didn't want the wet look. Overall very satisfied with product.

So this seems it would work good for general conditioning but it doesn't do anything to repair cracks in the coating of my Hunter boots, which it seems that it is supposed to based on the title and item description. I would say it would probably work better as a preventative treatment or to bring more of a shine back to boots before they are actually damaged. Unfortunately it didn't help with the look of the damaged coating of my boots like I was hoping though.

I have only used this item a couple of times so far, it makes my boots look great, too soon to say if it helps with protection

I used this to reseal my <1 year old Bogs garden shoes where rubber upper was separating from the outsole on the sides and letting in water. It did work and allowed continued use of shoes. The edges of sealant did start to lift from the rubber eventually (maybe from water, dirt or because I had applied such a thin bead so it wasn't too visible), so this year I reapplied it wider, as well as into some cracks on upper surface and it's doing its job. It leaves a clear, glossy finish so is noticeable. I keep it inside a zip lock bag in the freezer and it's maintained it's texture.
