Light Grey Grinder, 3 oz White

I like this grinder and the salt. The texture is a little more coarse than the fine grind, but I don't mind. I don't notice the taste difference that some customers have mentioned. It is a good salt.

The Celtic sea salt has a slightly different taste most likely because of the minerals. But very satisfying. The shaker has the ability to shake fine crystals, or larger ones.

This salt comes from the Mediterranean Sea. It's lower in sodium and higher in minerals and why it has a grayish look to it. It's slightly wet, that's normal. It has a richer taste than my Western U.S. table salt. The grinder produces a coarse grind. I haven't tried putting it in a grinder with a finer setting. This grinder top is removable to refill. My first grinder was barely doing its job by the time the bottle was empty. Looks good my current bottle will make it to the finish line. I'm glad the tops are removable. If not for cleaning the last one, I definitely would have lost some of the salt. For that reason I wouldn't count on these grinders handling refills. How I use it is taking advice from other consumers. They claim cooking with it didn't have a distinction worth the cost of the salt. I agree, compared to other salt, that would be very expensive. That's why I gave it a medium value rating. It's 5 star rating relates to it being a healthier salt with more flavor. Bon Appétit

I really like the taste of this salt and of course its better for you. The only thing that I dont understand is why it seems damp. I twist it to get salt out, you know, like a regular grinder, and it barely works. I have to shake it all the time to get the salt to the grinder part, because its damp. It doesnt move normal and is not dry like the Himilayan salt grinder or even the regular table salt grinders. That why I gave it a 4 star because nothing is mentioned in the description of this product that its damp, clumpy, and doesnt come out easliy. Does any one know?? I even went to sellers site to see if I could find a way to contact them & found no contact info. Maybe I should have given this a 3 star instead of the 4. But I really like the taste.

I love the selina naturally celtic sea salt. It's very expensive but has the highest mineral content of what I've researched. I use it for just about everything. I buy a large bag of the salt and put it in my grinder. I recently dropped the bottle and it broke, so I ordered another. I hadn't considered the grinder itself would've changed since I last bought one in 2021. Unfortunately it did, and it's VERY frustrating to try to get a decent amount of salt out! It makes minutes to grind 1 tsp of salt for a recipe. Many regular salt grinders don't work for celtic sea salt due to the high moisture content. Now I wish I would've tried saving the previous grinder lid.

I haven't tasted it myself as it was a gift, but from what I've been told it's just amazing... the taste, the moisture content, the crunchiness, the texture, the shape of the grains, the way it compliments meat, the way it enhances salads, the intelligent cap design, the artistic label, the health benefits, the attractive colour of the grains e.g. the way they catch the light and sparkle, the long shelf life, the cool noise they make when you are grinding them, the smell... so yeah I've been hearing a lot about this salt and apparently it's highly recommended.

Th taste is way better than table salt.
