Refrigerator Fridge Freezer Thermostat Temperature Controller for Model WDF-20/WDF-16/WDF-18/WDF-25

We have a refrigerator we use for camping and for down at our pavilion to keep drinks cold. We had noticed that it wasn't staying as cold as usual. My husband started pricing new fridges, and I wasn't thrilled. He then came across this thermostat, and thought it was worth a try. The product arrived in a couple of days, and my husband installed it without issue. The fridge is back to working good as new, and our drinks are cold. Highly recommend; worth every penny. Saved us from buying a new fridge!

My RV refrigerator thermostat relay switch went bad less than one year. This one replaced it perfectly. If your thermostat is similar to this with 2 relay wires and a ground, this should work. To note that it measures refrigerator side temp not freezer. I am sure if you spend the time and effort with the temp control screw you can have it monitor the freezer, I suggest you buy one that is set for the freezer. Seller did not include any instruction and Amazon description does not do much. Don't know how long it will last, certainly works well for now. Few minutes to install and few hours to watch the temp to make sure it is right around 38 degree.

The connector for the green wire does not match the Emersion CR500. I trimmed off about .040" with a dremel and worked fine. The original thermostat model for Emersion CR500 is WDF24 which cannot be found any more

It worked but would not let me control temp. Was just above freezing but it did work. The thermister tube was much shorter than the original.

Bad qualiry

My mini fridge in basement started having big temperature swings and I could not dial it in range. Bought this, installed it and let it cool down to dial in the temp. Works perfect now, easy to install and just like the OEM one.

I have an Emerson CR500 that has been seldom used but the stock thermostat has been discontinued for awhile. I made a leap of faith with this item after seeing another review here say they had to shave the ground connector thinner. I happened to expand the female connection with needle nose pliers and crimped it back on to accommodate the bigger connection on the ground and it has been working like new.

J'ai récemment acheté ce thermostat pour remplacer celui de mon réfrigérateur et congélateur. Bien qu'il ne s'agissait pas exactement du modèle d'origine, avec un peu d'adaptation, j'ai réussi à l'installer et il fonctionne correctement. L'installation a nécessité quelques ajustements pour s'assurer qu'il s'intègre bien avec le système existant, mais une fois en place, le thermostat a commencé à réguler la température de manière efficace. Cela a été un soulagement, car trouver un thermostat exact peut parfois s'avérer difficile, surtout pour les modèles plus anciens ou moins courants. Pour ceux qui envisagent de remplacer leur thermostat, je recommande ce produit, mais gardez à l'esprit qu'il peut nécessiter un peu de bricolage pour s'adapter parfaitement à votre appareil. Une fois ajusté, il devrait fonctionner aussi bien que l'original.

For those who search: The number after the hyphen indicates the length which the sensor cable has. Your original need to be even or shorter! Then you need to check voltage and IMPORTANT => xA (ampere). Quite a few out there don’t have the 6 amps! New part has to be even or higher!! Recommend to buy 2 pins if your has two and 3 pins if your has three. Ours had 3, so that’s why we bought this one To the part: fits perfect, worked instantly and I had nothing to adjust.
