The MK socket is of course a good quality brand, so no issues there.The pattress box - I had my reservations due to the overall low cost of both these items, but I have to say its a good quality box, sturdy and the knockouts are easy.I've used cheap pattress box's before and had them break or crack when breaking out the knock outs for cable entry.Good products. 👍

Easy to install and looks good

I bought this item to install in my bathroom and found that the screws to attach the electrical wire wouldn't 'catch' any of the three wires. I believe this was because the wiring in my house is pre-2006 and is a single strand copper instead of multiple strands of thin copper. I attached some new wire to the socket and then used connectors to attach the socket to the house wires. The socket works fine.

Used to add a new point in our lounge, went for MK as a well known, established and safe option rather than the various cheap versions that are available.Well made, feels strong and was basically everything that you would have expected from MK. No complaints.

If you're after a stylish and functional double socket, this is a great option, just keep in mind the build quality could be a little more robust.

Very good quality materials and made. Definitely get what you paid for way better than the £5-8 sockets. The back box is not brittle nice and sturdy the connections at the back of the front plate are very very high quality the screws the poles everything very sturdy. You only need to tap the back plate to knock out your choice of where you want to install the cables and screws. Definitely be purchasing more of these mk sockets.

Easy to install and does its job

not a big problem but delivery was day late
