this is the most screen accurate of the Kingom Deluxes, it has a good amount of articulation and feels good in robot mode, the transformation is the one flaw of the figure, the body is made up of thin pieces that could break easily, but its fine if you take your time and pay attention to what you're doing, the spider mode isn't as accurate as the robot mode but is still really cool.

The robot mode is close to a perfect representation of the character, and does an excellent job of hiding all parts of the beast mode that aren't integrated into the show model. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of the beast mode. It looks fairly bad in the photos, and having it in my hand, I can tell you that the photographers definitely captured the best angle. There are a lot of visible robot parts on this spider. Not helping is that the transformation is quite fiddly to get exactly right, and I'm not ashamed to say I mistransformed it the first time, making the issues seem even worse. The instructions are also quite hard to read (I swear they must have been better on the ones from my childhood). The toy in general is spindly. Very spindly. Given that it's based on the animation model of a show nearly 30 years old, I would say this toy is firmly aimed at nostalgic adults/parents, and I definitely wouldn't expect it to last very long in the hands of a child. Mine arrived with a damaged box, with one arm popped off in the packaging. It popped right back on, and the only actual damage was a few very small scratches, but it still arrived in less than mint condition.

When I got this the arm came.. separately, the joints for the spider legs can come off a little easily but other than that it's really good, the way you can fit a while person into a small spider alt mode is just fantastic, the engineering is clever, may take a while to get used to the transformation.

May want to wait till she goes on sale cos even though she is well made she is tiny. the amount of plastic is not worth the price, she is good but I think it would have helped if she was a bit bigger.

I used to play with transformers as a kid and my memory of them was that they were well made, durable and simple to transform. I got this for my 7yr old son and the instructions to transform it are terrible, way too complicated for a child. One of the spider legs and an arm came off on the second transformation and it ended up in the bin after less than 2hrs. Cheap, poorly made plastic tat is how I'd describe it. Avoid!

As someone who grew up watching the original show, this was a complete overhaul from the original toy. nostalgic and looks better in person. Also to add - the clip under the breast plate breaking on the online video reviews has been fixed with my figure. Happy with this purchase.
