Steady Betty 12-Inch-by-12-Inch Pressing Surface

I've used the Steady Betty over the years for embroidery on paper and other crafts. Works like a charm, even when traveling. It has yellowed a bit on the ends but is still a very nifty piece of equipment.

Love this product for hooping fabric for embroidery. Had larger one but wanted smaller one to easily carry to class and sewcial sewing. It’s great to place over a messy work area and makes a clean slate to hoop fabric or lay out a quilt block etc. I believe it’s primary purpose is for ironing but I do not use it for that. I think it’s a MUST HAVE in my quilting/embroidery supplies.

I haven't used this a whole lot yet. It does seem to 'grab' the fabric better than a regular ironing board cover.

This is a wonderful product. Hesitated to purchase thinking it was to frivolous to have. However after using the very first time I knew my earlier assumption was as wrong. I love it and it works great!

I love the size and concept. However anytime I use it, it warps and I can't get anything ironed flat.

My iron sticks and wrinkles the seam also no directions on iron heat setting or what type of iron to use. Very disappointed. Would like to get money back.

This really holds the fabric for pressing seams for pieced quilts. One the sewn fabric is placed on the surface, it stays put and doesn’t wiggle away so seams stay straight or curved as sewn instead of being distorted and messing up the design or having to unpick a seam and restitch.
