I can put 1ml of pure 100% real sandalwood oil into 2oz of sunflower oil ( or who knows what else!) and lable the bottle "100% sandalwood oil" because there is a tiny minuscule ammount of real oil there, but the rest of the bottle's content is unknown substance. Do your research , folks! This company's bottles doesn't even indicate the botanical name of the plant( which is another sign something isn't right). Even if it was 5% of sandalwood oil in ths bottle -- the price for2oz of it is just unrealistically cheep, period! **Q: I've used tea tree oil for years. I just bought this bottle and it smells like pine sol instead of the typical tea tree oil smell. Is this normal?** A: I've been around tea tree oil for over 30 years having had friends use it for shave bumps on their heads and I've personally used it as an antifungal. The scent of tea tree oil is NOT pleasant. Every tea tree oil product on Amazon has several people saying it smells bad or not what they're used to. Probably because they've never used truly 100% tea tree oil. The stuff absolutely works but it does stink to high heaven. **Q: My peppermint oil smells like band aids and hydrogen peroxide. It is repulsive. I use peppermint oil daily and never had a bottle like this. Scam?** A: Unless you can obtain the GC/MS report from the company selling the essential oil I wouldn't trust it for anything but pest control. I can tell you; a quality peppermint essential oil will run you about $10 for a 5mL bottle (that's 1/6th of an ounce). PLEASE do not use cheap oils in your diffusers, inhalers or in skin products. You will do more harm than good with all the synthetics that are found in cheap oils. **Q: Your essential oil failed the paper test for purity, what do you add to it?** A: Here’s a fun fact: essential oils aren’t true oils at all. Thanks ### ⭐ Very diluted, almost impercepable pine smell *by I***S on May 16, 2021* I mean no harm or disrespect to this company, but I'm not able to use this product because the fragrance is too weak to use for my homemade soap. The price was excellent for the Pine essential oil and the Bergamot essential oil. I read through the product details and descriptions and was under the impression that these were undiluted and pure essential oils. The packaging is thoughtful and lovely, but upon opening each bottle, the strong, distinct, and almost-astringent fragrances I was expecting are very faint for the Bergamot and indistinguishable for the Pine. I am not against using the "Sun Essential Bergamot Oil" or "Sun Essential Pine Oil"--(this is all that is listed in the ingredients list for each bottle)--in a diffuser, but my purpose for this purchase was making aromatherapy cold-process soap. I'm concerned that if I can't make out the fragrance BEFORE it's mixed into my soap, I don't see how I'll be able to distinguish it AFTER it's further diluted by the ingredients in my soap. My request to this company is to be more upfront about the ingredients--carrier oil/dilution proportions--in this product so your customers are able to make better/informed decisions.
