Easy to use and appears to be accurate as I've compared it to a pro unit costing 10X the amount

Tried on a few batteries, seems to work well. Reason I chose this one is it gives CCA reading of the battery, not just a good or replace battery reading like most. You can explain to the customer how much it’s worn and how long they can expect it to last! The addition of the teeth on the clips is nice, gets a good contact when the terminals are corroded Colour screen is nice and high resolution too

Although it doesn't show in photos or description, but the device does provides both State of Charge (SOC) as well as State of Health (SOH) readings.

When I recently bought a car , I was told the battery is in perfect condition but after a session of cleaning up while having the radio on , it proved my battery was dead . In the middle of trying my best to resuscitate it by charging , using a jump starter as the charging wouldn`t do anything , I bought this device to figure it out why the battery remains flat despite all this struggle . I was surprised to find out that my battery was dead and the cells wouldn`t charge any more so I had to go for a new one . Now , I`m monitoring constantly , especially this months when cold starting , to make sure I have the right tension and everything is in the graphic . It has a large display and what I like the most is I can actually see the power in percentage , rather than having vague estimations .

Si tratta di un praticissimo e semplicissimo tester per batterie, che vi consentirà di capire bene ed univocamente la "bontà" della batteria che state testando. Funziona sia con la batteria scollegata sia con la batteria installata nell'automobile/moto. Come da foto allegate è munito di pinza a coccodrillo, istruzioni (in inglese), un pratico cavetto USB ed un sacchetto custodia. Ottima qualità ed accuratezza, lo uso da più di un anno e si è sempre rivelato infallibile. Una volta addirittura ho portato la batteria dall'elettrauto (dopo che questo tester me la dava come esaurita al 25%) e l'elettrauto sosteneva che fosse ancora buona. Peccato che dopo aver provato a ricaricarla per una notte intera si è convinto anche lui che la batteria era ormai alla frutta... Con questo tester non rimarrete più a piedi, infatti sarete in grado in qualunque momento di sapere se la batteria è carica, ma soprattutto se è ancora "buona". Tutte le batterie infatti, dopo un certo lasso di tempo (un paio di anni) e dopo svariati cicli di carica/scarica, iniziano a deteriorarsi ed a perdere prestazioni fino al punto di non avere più la capacità sufficiente a farvi partire il motore dell'autovettura, causa elementi interni rovinati e non più idonei a mantenere la carica elettrica. Al fine di evitare spiacevoli inconvenienti, come quello di rimaner a piedi, questo tester vi darà la possibilità di verificare lo stato della vostra batteria ed eventualmente di sostituirla prima che sia troppo tardi... Il tester è molto facile da utilizzare, basta seguire le indicazioni (queste in italiano) sul display ed il gioco è fatto. Piccola pecca, se così si può definire, mancano le istruzioni in italiano. C'è però da dire che essendo il funzionamento molto facile ed intuitivo ed essendo l'inglese lingua ormai molto diffusa, la mancanza della traduzione delle istruzioni è praticamente trascurabile. Si bien el producto está bastante bien promocionado y explicado en la web, es sinceramente un comprobador de baterias bastante fiable, aparentemente construido con buen material y muy fácil de usar. Tienes muchos idiomas para elegir, incluido el español claro está. Es muy intuitivo y además existen varios vídeos en Youtube donde se puede ver el funcionamiento. Funciona con la energía de la batería a comprobar, por lo que no lleva pila. Además se puede actualizar gratis en la web oficial y según ellos de por vida del aparato. Vale la pena por el precio que cuesta y por el uso que puedes hacer de él.

Alors, oui, il y a des commentaires qui se plaignent de ne pas avoir un manuel en français et c'est vrai ! Celui livré n'est qu'en anglais, mais la version française est téléchargeable depuis le site. Bonne idée pour moi qui ne lit pas le tchèque ou le chinois ... il est livré avec une housse uniquement ainsi que le câble USB pour l'interface avec l'imprimante ou l'ordi. Perso, j'ai acheté la boite Ancel (parfaite). L'utilisation est simple dés que l'on a changé la langue dans le menu principale. L'application téléchargeable sur l'ordi (windows uniquement) permet de géré les mises à jour et les impressions.

You simply plug each wire leads on the corresponding battery terminals. The unit powers itself and then ask you what you want to perform; battery on the car or outside the car testing. It gives you the chance to dial-in the CCA of the battery to be tested. The results only takes seconds every time and are accurate. For smaller 12v battery like in a power generator, its the same process. I was able to eliminate any kind of guessing when boosting a car’s dead battery also. Is it still good or it needs to be replaced? This tester takes out the guessing out of the equation. Also, after each battery’s replacement, i always test the charging system. A good car alternator will usually give between 13.8v - 14.4v. So far this unit paid for itself many times. It allowed me to get 2 replacement batteries on warranty easily. Another benefit! Would i buy it again? YES *Update: as of July 2024, the unit still works flawlessly. I tested today 2 batteries and also performed on a older 2005 Honda CRV an alternator testing. The 2 batteries were good but the alternator was dead. It gives a really quick reliable diagnosis.* *Update: December 27 2024, a couple of very cold days drained to its death an older 2018 Motomaster AGM battery on a Acura ILX. This device allowed me to test and confirm that the battery was really the issue here. Replacement with a new battery and charging system test confirmed that the work was satisfactory. This simple tool is always the star of the show when it comes to automotive electrical issues.*
