Review: We've had it for months it's a great and reliable device. - Okay we've had it for months now. It still works as well as it did new along with being quite. It also destroyed everything we have thrown into it without issue so it's a great choice. The one I replaced was a badger unit that had a two year warranty and was in the house when we bought it just about 1 3/4 years ago. I would imagine it was in there for 3 years because I know it was there when we looked at the house initially so I would imagine it had been there at a minimum of 6 months probably a little longer before we chose this house and finished with the contract. So the installation was easy relatively I actually wired a new power outlet because I had already bought it rather than hard wiring it which I could have done it either way but I bought the outlet and am an experienced Low Voltage/Communications electrician. That fact is not mentioned anywhere. I looked for it when I bought it and is why I had already bought the extra wall outlet, but hard wiring it is very simple as well you take a metal plate off the bottom held on by a bolt and there are a white, green and black wire coupled with pinch on wire grommets underneath to the plug in cord. I also did not know Waste King is Owned by MOEN you may have seen there faucets in Home Depot there a relatively well regarded brand sold at Home Depot or Lowe's home improvement and I imagine many other stores of that type. I found it out when I went to there website to see if I needed to register it for the warranty. Another thing I liked is the standing warranty on this unit is 8 years and from what I could tell 10 years on the Legend series which compared to the Badger unit I took out beats its standing warranty by 400% (as mentioned earlier the badgers warranty was 2 years which seems pretty low for a home utilitarian device like this to me) so I really like the warranty it is all stainless steel inside and the magnet motor on this unit is also probably about a quarter of the noise the old one made. I also think the price on this unit was outstanding and it was here in 2 days so no complaints anywhere from me. I will update this if I run into any issues though! As far as it goes it seems like a very solid unit to me. Review: Easy Install , Great Price - So far so good not as quite as I'd like but it's not extremely noisy. I've had it for about a year with no issues. Great price easy install. ## Features - HIGH-SPEED MOTOR: Features a 2,700 RPM (revolutions per minuts), 115 volt permanent magnet motor is sound-insulated & jams less - EASY INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE: Save time with the included EZ Mount for quick kitchen sink installation, plus a removable splashguard for simple cleaning - COMPACT & LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: Engineered to maximize under-sink space, this low profile 3/4 HP (horsepower) garbage disposal is measures at 7.75" Dia. x 13.75" L and weighs 8.6 lbs. - NO ELECTRICAL WORK OR EXPERTISE NEEDED: Comes with a pre-installed power cord for easy plug-in and no additional electrical work needed - DURABILITY: Built to last with corrosion-resistant, all stainless-steel grind components for long-term reliability - TRUSTED PERFORMANCE: The Waste King garbage disposal is backed by 8-year Limited Warranty Protection ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0014XEM88 | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,292 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #14 in Garbage Disposals | | Color | N/A or Unfinished | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (4,695) | | Date First Available | July 29, 2009 | | Finish | stainless | | Included Components | EZ Mount Garbage Disposal Power Cord Installation Instructions | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 10.8 pounds | | Item model number | L-3200 | | Manufacturer | Moen Incorporated | | Material | corrosion proof polymer | | Part Number | L-3200 | | Pattern | 8 Year Warranty | | Power Source | electric | | Product Dimensions | 7.75 x 7.75 x 13.62 inches | | Size | 3/4 HP - Continuous Feed | | Special Features | Lightweight | | Style | Disposal Only | | Usage | Food Waste Disposal | | Voltage | 115 volts | | Warranty Description | Limited | ## Product Details - **Material:** corrosion proof polymer - **Brand:** Waste King - **Color:** N/A or Unfinished - **Item Weight:** 8.6 Pounds - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00029122732002 ## Images ![Waste King L-3200 Garbage Disposal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EygGinmBL.jpg) ![Waste King L-3200 Garbage Disposal - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VqkIHHjTL.jpg) ![Waste King L-3200 Garbage Disposal - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71G8NdHCE9L.jpg) ![Waste King L-3200 Garbage Disposal - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ZtBw1e4aL.jpg) ![Waste King L-3200 Garbage Disposal - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61FZ3+glBVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Has any one had problems with the "easy mount" on a SS sink? The cushion mount slipped out of the mount ring on the second day.Is vibration a problem?** A: The Easy Mount doesn't seal well on a SS sink. I've had a plumber out a couple of times to remedy the sink seal. Last fix was a couple of years ago and we just discovered it's leaking again. **Q: What does "lifetime" mean. If I am 25 and it konks out when I am 50, what do I get? Is it pro-rated?** A: This is the best. I bought mine in 2013 (5 years ago) and its worked perfectly, until a couple of days ago, it would not start. Power to GFCI plug on, reset button tripped. When I reset the button, it came on about 1/2 second and stopped. Troubleshooting indicates the brushes on the electromagnetic motor need replacement. I called Anaheim customer service (the company that manufactures Waste King and all they needed was the original purchase date, my name, and the serial number from the unit. A brand new replacement unit should arrive in a couple of days. Zero charge for the unit or shipping fee. They offered to have a plumber come install it too, also no charge, however, since I’m pretty handy, I don’t need that. The total time on the call to resolve the warranty replacement was about 15 minutes, due to an approximate 3 minute wait time to speak to the representative. All is needed to complete the warranty process is the serial number tag from the existing unit and the serial number from the new one, mailed back in to Anaheim Manufacturing. Easy peasy!! Great service and they stand behind the lifetime warranty! **Q: I need to replace an insinkerator badger 5. would this be able to b installed easily where the old one was w/o having to reinstall the drain partstall** A: Won't fit your existing badger drain flange (same system used by most brands). You will have to remove yours and replace it with the included Waste King drain flange in order to mount the new unit. **Q: I am looking for a unit that will be direct wired (no outlet). Will this unit work?** A: I direct wired it but it wasn't easy to remove the plug. I ended up having to cut the cord and mutilate the grommet the cord went through in order to get it out. In my opinion if there's one without a cord that's a few dollars more I'd buy that one. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We've had it for months it's a great and reliable device. *by R***1 on April 18, 2019* Okay we've had it for months now. I've had it for about a year with no issues. Great price easy install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the quick $100 *by J***Y on September 26, 2026* Installed it last night. So far so good. The installation took a bit of time figuring out how to attach the disposal to the hopper slots and not a ring like my old unit. So the only issue I seen with the unit itself is at initial startup makes a loud metal noise. It also does sit 1" lower in the sink but other than that for only $107 it's still quiet and smooth and will get a second unit for my other rental. ## Frequently Bought Together - Waste King 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Food Waste Disposer for Kitchen Sink, L-3200 - Waste King Black Disposer EZ Mount Garbage Disposal Stopper and Splash Guard for Sink Drain, 1025 - Waste King Garbage Disposal Dishwasher Connector Kit - 1023 , Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.mx/products/2306802-waste-king-l-3200-garbage-disposal](https://www.desertcart.mx/products/2306802-waste-king-l-3200-garbage-disposal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mexico* *Store origin: MX* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
