On Vertex helmets you can look at the shell construction to determine which series helmet you have. If it appears to have single wall construction it is an older model requiring the Fixed mount accessories. If it appears double wall the Vertex uses the new Easyclip system. A little stiff to move up and down but it may loosen over time so that's better than having it fall down when not wanted. Side mounting screws could be a little longer.
