Arequipe does not taste good.
The arequipe that comes with this product does not taste like arequipe at all, and it does not taste good. El arequipe no sabe bien, no parece arequipe. No las recomiendo.

Wafers good. Arequipa terrible
The wafers were crispy, thin and delicious but the arequipe/caramel sauce was disgusting. Came out clumpy and watery. Do not recommend!

We loved them!
I got these to go along with our homeschool unit about Colombia and my daughter, husband, and I all really liked them. I wouldn't be worried by poor reviews, (I was but I'm glad I took the chance.) I'm guessing those people got a bad batch or maybe weather affected their items.

Our neighbors are from Columbia and gave one to my grandson. He absolutely loves them. Of course I had to get him a box! Thankfully Amazon carries them!
