Install "Radio Garden" on your Android smartphone from Google Play. On the app, scroll to the country you are interested in on a world map presented to you. You click on the area of interest and it gives you all the local radio stations registered with Radio Garden in that area - LIVE! For BBC, select the London area in UK and all the London local stations will be marked - including of course BBC. You can click on BBC World Service, BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, BBC Digital, BBC London etc. or whatever you like! You can listen to the station selected and save the ones you like in your playlist. Heavy on battery power though.

Radio Garden is a non-profit Dutch radio and digital research project developed from 2013 to 2016, by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, by the Transnational Radio Knowledge Platform and five other European universities. According to the service, the idea is to narrow the boundaries from the radio.
