Yes yes yes! These erasers were WONDERFUL. I didn't realize I had bought a twelve-pack, but that was my fault for not looking closely at what I was buying. I kept seven and gave five to my grandparents. My grandfather uses them in his woodshop (he makes wooden pens, so he has a lot of marking to do), my grandmother uses hers for normal pencil erasing and for erasing sketch marks on canvas (she's an oil and acrylic painter), and I use them for erasing in my sketch pad and on wood that I've woodburned. Summed up: THESE ARE THE BEST ERASERS I'VE EVER USED. They erase pencil marks after I've already woodburned, which is hard for an eraser to do but really cleans it up. They work perfectly for everything my grandparents use them for, and when I erase in my sketchbook it's like I never even made a mark to start with. They're great! They also last for freaking ever. I'm only partway through my first one and I've been using it nearly every day (admittedly lightly) for a month and a half. They leave a few shavings behind, but nothing like a regular eraser. They're perfect! I've seen a few really bad reviews on here though, saying that they ordered the erasers and just got one giant one, or the box arrived smashed or the erasers were in bad condition. My recommendation for that is that you check the seller first. I ordered mine from Amazon LLC, and the ones I got were absolutely perfect, I'd give them 100 out of 5 stars if I could, and I will definitely buy them again!

... but they didn't used to have air bubbles in them. I have used this brand for years, and I stick by it because it really does the best job removing pencil without damaging the paper. For example, if you're taking a standardized test with #2 pencils, this eraser will help you fix a wrong answer the best. It was always difficult to get because there would be only small quantities in the store. I was very happy to be able to buy this box of 12 all at once, so now I can leave them scattered around the house everywhere they are needed. However, I was surprised that the current batch has little air bubbles in them. I don't know if this was just a bad batch (purchased Feb 2013), or if now-days they're including air as an extender to get more erasers out of a batch. I find that the Magic Rub works better than other erasers that come on writing implements, such as the Papermate Erasable Ink Pens and Bic Mechanical Pencils. For both of these, the eraser provided by the manufacturer smears more than erases (don't they care?), but the Magic Rub does the job. If you need fine control of what you erase, look for the Magic Rub Peel-Off Eraser Pencil.

These erasers are pretty good. They are very gentle on the paper and do a good job. They were recommended in several drawing books and I read good reviews saying they remove everything without leaving a trace behind. Well, that is not true, they leave a trace even though I tend to make rather gentle lines. But I didn't expect them to do any "Magic" so I am contend. Also, I like that they are made in the US and are non-toxic. In the box they smell a bit but that is not an issue once you take one out and use it. I didn't even need 12 erasers but they were so inexpensive that I just ordered the box instead of a couple.

These things last a while, erase smoothly, great size, comfortable to use. The sharpness of the eraser kind of dwindles as you use and it becomes smoother but the erasing part is very clean regardless doesn't take much arm work. You get 12 in the box and I'm still on the first one one month into college.

Nothing works better for my needs.

I had to specifically look for this brand as it is one of the few I have ever used that does not get hard and brittle over time. It is always "fresh" and flexible. And as I make few mistakes, one box will last me a lifetime!

I would say these seem only better than average as an eraser. They are not quite the wonder eraser some reviews I read on Amazon.com seem to suggest. I still gave them five stars though, as they do seem to be very durable. They do not disintegrate like many others so on the whole they are great value for the money. I would buy again.
