Tungsten Cube - 1"

it is pretty cool, kind of surreal how heavy it is

This cube is awesome. I purchased it alongside a 10 piece density demo set of other 1" cubes, and the density difference is immensely noticeable and fascinating. The work put into this cube is also far greater than that of other samples I've been looking at- the corners are smoothed to a visually crisp, nicely rounded edge. The information sheet that comes with it is detailed and precise, the stand it well crafted and fits the cube perfectly. I honestly just keep playing with it, it's a good fit in the hand and a perfect desk toy. The shipping method was exactly what was called for, held the cube and stand perfectly secure and insured that even my careless mail delivery person couldn't damage it in any way. They use four foam blocks that are snugly fit to the enclosing box, with cutouts in the center two to fit the cube and stand with slight compression, leaving everything immobilized. I would absolutely buy from them again, and will be back to pick up another larger cube in the future.

I mean, I got this for my boyfriend. It’s heavy. Makes your palm feel good. Small and heavy little cube. I didn’t understand wanting these metal shapes till my bf asked me for a copper ball. Idk how why he wanted it so bad but I bought it.. and I understood. Few months later I bought him this little cube. Something about metal shapes that are heavier than they look just.. makes you feel alive. Get the cube. Live a little

This cube was a stocking stuffer for my partner and he loves it! All the men at our Christmas party also were intrigued by the heavy cube. Worth the price! Corners are rounded so they are not sharp. Cube is virtually perfect!

Weighed 10.4 oz on my food scale. I'm familiar with Tungsten as I've used the material as it applies to installing rivets in commercial airplane structure. This cube was an ideal size and weight for fixing a $15 aluminum IPad Pro 12.9" stand. Seriously. Most people would say $75 for that weight and $15 for your stand? Why spend the money? Maybe because my IPad is $1300 and in Portrait mode the stand would tip over at the slightest breeze. A worthwhile investment in my opinion. I used heavy duty double backed velcro to apply. Works as intended. Also looks like the stand so looks original. Well packaged in 4 1/2" square box with Peiriodic label on top and surrounded by laser cut foam. If I ever need other elements for any other reason I will buy again from Midwest Tungsten Service.

I love it!! It came in awesome packaging, fast shipping and impressive cube. The density is amazing for it's size. It weighs 0.65 pounds on my scale or 10.4 ounces and even comes with a cool display stand. The quality of the cube is top notch!! I definitely would recommend to anyone and it makes a great conversation piece. It also comes with a data sheet talking about the composition of the Tungsten cube.

Okay. It's a cube. It's made of almost pure tungsten. It's really heavy for its size. It should not corrode over time. I plan to use it along with ten 1" density cubes to create an online science lesson. These lessons use real experiments and hands-on measurement to teach science the right way. I just wish I could let online students feel the weight of this cube for themselves. Compared to the brass and steel cubes in the set, it's much heavier!

I had this majestical block in my amazon cart for nearly a year before I decided to buy it, I am sad I waited so long. This cube has changed my life, I wake up in the morning with joy seeing it on my desk. This cube is the thing you need to fill your empty soul. buy one.

It takes a certain type of person to drop this much money on something like this. You need to love chemistry, science, metals, elements, and the natural world. You need to be somewhat materialistic, and you probably like expensive, unique things. At least that's how I am, and this is one of the coolest things I own. The cube doesn't feel real, like it's made of something you've never seen before. It feels like it is attracted to the table with an electromagnetic force. It really is mesmerizing. I would definitely recommend it for a certain type of person.

Its a cube of heavy metal. It does what it says on the tin.
