Quick & thorough constipation relief
This was the only thing that worked when I was dealing with persistent constipation. Simply drink the recommended amount and let the magic work. I’d also recommend taking it at a time when you know you have easy and quick access to a bathroom for several hours. When the urge to go hits, it hits fast. I took it in the early evening after work and was able to go to bed at my normal time without issue. Pros: - Worked within 1-3 hours (lingered for about 6 hours) - Thoroughly relieved pain, bloating, and constipation - Did not cause painful diarrhea - When timed correctly, does not interfere with normal activities and functioning - I was actually able to get 2 uses out of this bottle, but some people may need to drink the whole bottle at once Cons: - The flavor was not my favorite, but was tolerable (and worth it since it really helped). It kinda tastes like warm, flat, thick and syrupy Sprite Caution: While this product is extremely effective, it should be used as a last resort for stubborn constipation. Make sure you follow directions, don’t take it too frequently, and consult with your doctor if needed.

It works
Actually had prep for colonoscopy that didn't work. Dr. told me to get some magnesium citrate and drink it. I did and it worked well. It was your brand so ordered a bottle from you to have in stock. Thank you.

A necessary evil
Well, it sure did the trick - without any icky or nasty aftertaste to it. So, I guess this is the thing to get for my next colonoscopy.. which won't be a few years, so there's a silver lining :)

4 stars only because no ones buying this unless they have to, but great product.
Well, when you need this you need this. In my case it was prepped for a minor medical procedure. It's very reasonably priced it doesn't taste terrible - kinda like slightly salty Lemonade, so not too terrible to get down with a glass of water to chase it ( and you will need to drink at least 1 preferably two 8 ounce glasses of water immediately after taking this, to get the full effect). Speaking of the full effect - it works like a a champ. Just a word of advice: do not stray more than 10 seconds from your restroom once you've downed this, for at least the next8 hours. And, you might just want to pre populate that area with a fair amount of reading material. You're going to be awhile, while it does what it does in a highly effective way.

Product Works But Is Overpriced
The solution itself works. The product is terribly overpriced. We were able to find magnesium citrate oral solution for under $2 elsewhere

Distaster Pants!
Tuesday night 6pm time to start the prep for surgery on Wednesday 8am. The directions stated 1 10 oz. Magnesium Citrate bottle. It has a very salty, briny taste with undertones of Mr. Clean Lemon All Purpose Cleaner. I did cut it with some Sprite as “the sugar to help the medicine go down.” But this in turn only doubled the amount I had to drink. I then followed it up with a full glass of water. Now I waited. I moved around, packed a hospital bag, took the dog out, etc. Around 8pm, nothing. No rumbling, no urges. So I down a full glass of apple juice. At 9pm nothing. No rumbling, or urges. Only urination with all of the liquid I had consumed. So I downed another full glass of apple juice. By 11pm finally there were some rumblings, something was afoot. By now I had read the patient reviews of the Magnesium Citrate online. I was in for a long night. But luckily, I had nothing else to do and I just bought a 24 pack of Charmin. I was ready. I was NOT ready. Around 11:30 pm things started slowly. Then “By the power of Greyskull!” I was off and running, literally. I was victorious! Thinking that I was finished, my bowels informed me, “We are going to do this one more time…” I crawled into bed proud of myself and kinda amazed at what the human body can do. I was in bed for no more than 7 minutes when Nature called again. This time the nausea had kicked in. I now could not leave the toilet, and not sure if I was going to vomit. I finished, cleaned up, scrubbed the toilet because I wasn’t sure if I was going to drive the porcelain bus later that night. Back to bed I went. To make a long story short I was up all night. Went through 1 ½ rolls of Charmin on my burning bum, and one roll shredded by my inner Wolverine. Hey, I needed something to hold on to as I was crossing the universe. So with no sleep, angry bowels, and a flame thrower of an anus, it was time to go to the hospital. I still was so nauseous. Went to check in, then proceeded to vomit bile all over the place because…..why not. My bowel prep was now complete. Now to be serious, this is a powerful medication. Follow the directions given by your doctor. Read the label, heed the warnings on it. Good luck.

Good to go.
Did its job - nothing more important. The value is OK. If you mix it with water in thirds it prevents the nauseous feeling some other mixes cause.
