**Q: Will this base accommadate 16 oz Coleman propane bottles?**
A: Hi Hunter, Yes, this base is perfect for the Coleman single-use 16 oz. propane bottle. I highly recommend this base as it's a nice snug fit and with the retractable fins it makes it extremely sturdy. Hope this helps.

**Q: What is the diameter of base with feet extended?**
A: Not long enough in my opinion as the unit is not very stable even with the lets out.  Each leg is about 2".

**Q: Is inside the base solid or not solid?**
A: The inside base is semi solid. It has a opening in the bottom,but it has a solid rim to it with lobes casting inward to support lantern. Hope this info helps. :-

**Q: Does this base fit a 14.1 oz bernzomatic propane cylinder?**
A: Yes, this base hold firmly any 14.1 or 16.4 / 17.4 bottle from Walmart, Sears, Etc, not just Bernzomatic. If you like buying a specialty bottle with a plastic foot or base this probably won't work as it is made for a STANDARD bottle.

I wanted this stand to support my propane bottles in my workshop, not for cooking. This base does what it’s supposed to do — once it’s on, the canister sits steady and doesn’t feel like it’s going to tip over while you’re working. The only annoyance is the folding wings; they’re stiff enough that you feel like you’re wrestling them every time you open or close the thing. Not a dealbreaker, just mildly irritating when you’re trying to set up quickly. Still, it’s a decent little stabilizer that gets the job done without taking up much space. Solid enough for the price.
