This is a super cheap watch that is easy to read and has lasted a long time. I bought my watch in May 2016 and have been wearing it nearly every day since then. I can't remember if I've changed that battery, if I did I only did so once. I have abused this as much as possible, my hands are constantly wet and in chemicals at work and I constantly bump into stuff (I brew beer for a living - this thing has been soaked or submerged often). The decals have somewhat worn off, and the analog watch hands stopped working earlier this year, but doesn't bother me as I use the digital anyway. The reason I am re-ordering the watch is because the little ring that holds the end of the strap to the rest of the watch broke off, and I don't like it dangling about. Yeah it's humongous and ugly and nerdy, but it works extremely well. I have had a lot nicer watches that didn't work as well as this one. I love mine and hopefully this next one lasts me just as long.

Ah yes, the poor mans Mudman. Great watch for the money. Alarm function, hourly chime, AM/PM or 24 Hr. time format, and stopwatch function. This version has a set of analog hands with cutouts so that they do not block the LCDs behind the hands. There is a version without the analog hands, and this watch comes in other colors as well. The crystal has a slight curve to cut glare, and the high-contrast LCD background shows up as either green or black depending on the lighting. The wrist strap is a bit thin, but that helps cut down on weight if you do not like heavy watches. All of the time information is displayed at once: day of week, day, date, and time in the format of your choosing - with an animation in the small dial. It does not have a separate LCD time zone. For that, you have to set the analog hands or set the LCD time to another time zone. The "PS" in the display does not do/indicate anything. It has another light button at the 6 o'clock position that does not provide any function. The LCD digits light up green for a few seconds. The face of the watch says "Water Resistant 50M" but I believe that to be an optimistic projection. For every day 'light' use (office-type work), it should work fine. If you are a mechanic, in construction, or other line of business such as "dirty jobs", this may not hold up for too long. I still wonder that the "S" in S-Shock means... Shock-Shock?

UPDATE: After a week and a half of wearing it the second hand fell off and stopped working. Great quality watch for a very reasonable price! It has date and 12/24 hour time. Alarm and stop watch. Green light and waterproof up to 50 meters.

After 3 and 1/2 months,the second hand fell off. And now stuck in there and sometimes get minute hand stuck on it. So you have to shake the watch,to move it.
