Pictures do show how to set it up, but it take a few tries to get to work, but after you get the hang of it, it does the job. The cons of this particular "kit:" The strapping material is very low quality and will will break if too much tension is applied with the tensioner mechanism. It also break if you get it secured and then try to lift the banded material by the strap. The supplied strapping breaking point is allegedly 100 Kg (about 200 lbs). This makes it only suitable for small, light weight material, boxes, etc. You're better off buying strapping tape of high tensile strength and quality. I'm certain this cannot be used with metal banding. The clips are poorly made and many are deformed. They work, but you have to find the ones that are formed correctly to fit the sealers jaw. The handles of the sealer are really too short and takes considerable force to close. If your upper body strength is minimal, you'll probably not be able to close the sealer. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Setting up the tensioner with the strapping material is pretty straight forward and is clearly shown in instructions and the tensioner is easy to operate. Getting the clips clamped on is another matter and, but if you get them set correct and use brute force to close the sealer handles it works. The supplied strapping tape is useless. Buy other high-quality strapping material. ## Frequently Bought Together - Heavy Duty Manual 4 in 1 PET/PP Manual Strapping Tools Packing Machine Set Tensioner & Sealer 100m Packing Belt - IDL Packaging Open Serrated Seals of 1.25" Length for 1/2" Strap Width Polyester (PET) Strapping (Pack of 100) - Increased Load Securement Due to Serrated Design of Strapping Clips - IDL Packaging 1/2" x 200' Polypropylene (PP) Strapping Coil (300 lbs Break Strength) in Сardboard Self-Dispenced Box - Lightweight and Affordable Poly Banding - Elastic and Flexible Packaging --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.mx/products/234619928-strapping-packing-kit](https://www.desertcart.mx/products/234619928-strapping-packing-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mexico* *Store origin: MX* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
