A First Class Piece of Kit!
An absolute must if you are fitting hinges on a kitchen cupboard door. It is very well made and will last the average do-it-yourself person a lifetime. It made the job I was doing turn from a nightmare into an absolute doddle. Just one observation (not a criticism) - There are two upright pegs on the second part of the template intended to locate the holes required to fix the second part of the hinge to the cupboard wall. These pegs are hollow but not drilled through so marking the location is difficult. I ran a 2mm drill through both pegs and then used the same drill to mark where the screw holes need to be. Once marked use the correct sized drill to open them out to accept the two captive screws that fasten this part of the hinge to the cupboard wall. A first class bit of kit and easy to use.

Good Quality and Easy to Use
Good Quality and Easy to Use I recently purchased the LOOTICH Hole Drilling Jig Template for drilling holes for hinge cup mounting plates and connecting fittings, and overall, I’m impressed with its performance. The set includes two templates, one for 35mm and the other for 26mm hinge cups, as well as additional options for Ø25mm and Ø20mm holes, which is perfect for my various projects. The templates are well-made, with sturdy plastic construction and clear markings that make alignment easy. I’ve used it to drill holes in both cabinets and drawers, and it consistently produced accurate and clean results. The holes were perfectly aligned every time, which saved me a lot of frustration during assembly. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I feel that the jigs could have been a little more rigid in terms of grip when securing to the wood. I had to ensure the template was clamped down tightly to avoid any slight shifting. But overall, this is a minor issue compared to how well it performs. For anyone looking for an affordable and effective jig for hinge cup drilling and drawer fittings, I would definitely recommend this product. It has made my woodworking projects much easier and more precise.

Simple but very effective
I did lots of research into installing concealed hinges and it seemed to be a very complicated process so I've avoided them until now. I eventually decided to try them and bought the cheapest aid to see how I got on with them. To my delight, it was incredibly easy. After using the jig to mark and drill the first two holes in the carcass the jig fits into them and its then just a case of holding the door against them to mark the position for the 35mm hole. I'm very impressed that such a cheap and simple jig makes the process so easy.

Makes marking of drilling holes very easy
I used the jig as I was fitting new kitchen doors to existing cupboard carcases . The new doors had different mounting centres. The jig was perfect to mark out the new holes for the hinges which are mounted on the carcase. I found it was best to do the top hinge first and fit it, and then mark and drill the second . Door then fitted perfectly every time. NB used B&Q softclose hinges and a 5mm hole for the holes.

Poor guide for the support screws
There are a couple of limitations with this cheap jig and it's instructions, that only became apparent to me when I went to use it. First, for the Concealed/sunken hinge side there is no guide for the support/fixing screw, either width wise or dept from edge. So all you are getting for that side is measure from the edge to the bore hole centre. Second, having marked my hole location for the concealed hinge, I wanted to mark the location on the lid (built in window box seat with storage) where the second part of the hinge would attach. However it's not designed that way, it's actually in reverse. You need to mark and drill the holes for the non-concealed Hinges first, and then when you use the jig, there are plastic pillars that fit in to the holes you drilled, and that allows you to mark the hole centre for the concealed hinge. This only became apparent as I wrote the review, as the instruction sheet is very basic.
