Great Brush Power and Teeth Cleaner and Makes Me Want To Brush!!
I received this toothbrush a few days ago and already super loving it. First of all, let’s start off with the initial presentation of the toothbrush. It came in a two compartment box where one side was the toothbrush and charger whereas the other side had the case. The packaging is great and secure. Let’s start off with the toothbrush case itself. It looks and feels very premium. I feel very safe and secure leaving my toothbrush and additional replacement heads kept in there. You can keep up to two replacement heads in there and your toothbrush by the way. The case is sturdy that it seems like it can take a fall and go unharmed. Let’s now talk about the smart timer that came with it. It also comes with two batteries and a mount to put on your mirror or wherever you want to stick it. Make sure to read to instruction book on how to set the time correctly and also to connect your toothbrush to this timer. I found this timer feature pretty useful because of how it gives you a rating after each time you brush. The smiley face will change depending on how you brush. It will also tell you the time elapsed or remaining depending on how you set it up. After you finish brushing, it will basically act like a clock so that is always nice to have in the bathroom. Now, onto the main toothbrush itself! This toothbrush not only looks premium but it felt very comfortable in my hands too. It is also super easy to take off the brush head. You just gently pull up and then you are ready to switch. The Bluetooth was also relatively easy to set up to the phone. Make sure you download the Oral B app and turning on Bluetooth on the phone before connecting this toothbrush. After downloading just open the app up and press the power button on the toothbrush and it will connect on your phone! I thought it would be the type of Bluetooth where you have to choose the device to connect to but nope, it's even simpler than that. For those who want to use the toothbrush right away, you will have to wait a little. *My toothbrush came with absolutely 0% battery and wouldn't even turn on* It took about the 24 hours written in the manual to completely charge. I started using it around 2 hours in though because I couldn't wait. It is super easy to charge too. You should place your toothbrush on the charger and then it'll charge. It'll show you how many bars of battery has been charged. If it turns off and doesn't show any battery levels anymore then it is fully charged! Let’s get to the brushing part. Not only does this toothbrush make it fun and kind of like a game but makes me want to brush. I started using the toothbrush head that was already installed on the toothbrush and it cleaned my teeth really clean. It was powerful but not too strong where it hurts me. This toothbrush is also great too because it will warn you if you are placing too much pressure. The toothbrush and power thoroughly cleans my teeth and my mouth so much cleaner compared to manual toothbrush and a 10 dollar electric toothbrush that I used before. You can actually feel the difference. All of this can be tracked on your Oral B app to see how long you have been brushing and you can also do different programs on how you want to brush your teeth and your goal. This, I believe is a really cool feature. The toothbrush itself also has 6 different modes. The tongue cleaning mode is pretty neat because it is gentle when on that mode and cleans my tongue pretty well. The other modes are great too. I also really like the whitening mode as it seems to polish more of an area and the rhythm is a little different which is pretty neat. After using your toothbrush it is easy to clean as you just have to rinse it and clean it a little bit and you’re golden. You can either keep it on the charger or leave it on your counter with no problem. Overall, I really recommend this product because it not only makes me want to brush, but makes me brush more too. It not only keeps my teeth clean, but will keep my gums healthy.

Oral B 7000 cost effective and robust clean second impression.
I had a old Oral B professional x nearly 10 years one speed only. It works still but is much slower now more likeca manual. Oral B 7000 with either smart clock timer and mode display. Oral b synced well handle with app or timer. Would prefer the mode to display on handle must use timer or ap to know for sure. Did use coupon so 100 dollars. Nice black case prefer no usb on a case where water is present. 8000v9000 have usb Do not want to suspend smartphone by a suction cup on mirror and detection of postion from other notes is less than accurate per other users . Save 38 dollars get the 7000. Save 10 more with 6000 . Rinse after use irrigate brush head and dry is water proof others said about corrosion my 10 year old Oral B is still working just weak now very weak so I replaced the 50 dollar unit over 10 years. This is made in the USA . Hope this helps someone as a first impression. Second impression 1. More advice on sync between handle, smart clock, and use of application instead of clock. 2. Cycle between 6 modes in smart clock 3. Did not use smartphone instead of smart clock but probably the same but in a wet environment? 4. Really 6 modes is 6 speeds ironicaly my old 10 year was in sensitive mode or massage mode but also stop mode so replaced good service 5 dollars per year of use. Good investment at age 67 have 31 healthy teeth. 5. Consider how much a cleaning cost this is the cost of one dental DDS appointment for a healthy mouth which extends to other infections in your body risk in heart disease if neglected. 6. Not really that loud consider the oscillate and vibration needed. 7. Handle easy to clean with travel case too.made in Germany correction. 8. I am not returning but process seems long original box etc but within 60 days . 9. Choose based on number of speeds or modes needed to be simple. 10. Bluetooth does add value. 11. Retricting or shut down on mode program is over the top i just want to cycle between modes and not shut down when i enroll in a program. 12. Rare for red light to activate let handle do the work light touch only spinning and vibrating enough on its own. 13. Sync issues use mode to sync but usually remove from charger and bluetooth sync s be sure your BT is on first in smartphone then follow prompts on phone but start brushing is a verbal prompt do not press is automatically connected just wait for handle to sync with smartphone at top.. Complex just brushing but documents time and your sequence with flossing and mouthwash. 7000 is a good balance bottom line cleans well cycle thru all 6 modes in 3 minutes feel dental refreshing floss rinse Healthy gums and teeth . Perhaps less models better PG Braun price points more FAQ price range from 89 to 200 plus mine was over100 with coupons but not the Genius level . Handles are different but a better idea to have 6 modes on handle but smart guide clock has the cycle pictured. After nearly a week, cleaner healthier direction. Smart guide clock stops in tongue mode if you reach the programed time of 2 min regular clean then goes back to reset diamond clean c + is set for 3 minutes. Just data accuracy on timing per mode needed but expect if you cycle thru 6 modes which I need with gum recession per DDS do not spend 45 sec per quadrant keep moving no parking in quadrant zone so not programmed to count this way no setting to be elected just the order of 6 modes . 7000 is last years model perhaps genesis has this along with modes all pictured on handle. 100 dollars was my limit. PG can produce a TB handle that is the same for all models include lithium battery too. Overall a good buy for better dental health. If i had a powerful brush like this 50 years ago would not have the fillings, root canals , receding gums, extractions , etc saved a lot on dental care . Today dental health corelates with other health risks cardiac , nutrition , digestion etc Buy 6000, 7000, or Genesis. I am a fan for oral b products. I do not work for PG a health care professional . Good reliable product .

Outstanding toothbrush. Puts the fun back into brushing your teeth! Some review myths debunked!
To begin with, I have owned a Braun electric toothbrush for many years. I have one of their older rotating head models that still works well. In other words, I have experience with these toothbrushes. I also feel that, by far, you get a better clean using a rotating brush over a standard one. I am a little over 50 years of age. In my lifetime, I have only had one cavity. I take great pride in maintaining proper dental hygiene. I believe anyone can be cavity-free if they floss regularly and brush their teeth and gums twice a day for at least two minutes. What I liked about the older Braun electric toothbrush was that I could actually time my brushings to the recommended 2 minutes. Start the holder, and at the two minute mark, the brush heads would make a funny motion to indicate that your two-minute mark has occurred. This new 7000 SmartSeries toothbrush takes that experience to a whole new level. The best thing about this expensive toothbrush is that it comes with a portable gauge with adhesive holder that you tack on to your bathroom wall near your sink. It actually pairs with the toothbrush via bluetooth. When you turn the toothbrush on, the indicator starts counting towards your 2-minute goal. I like this, because without the indicator on the older brush, I never knew how far into my routine I was. An indicator on the gauge not only counts your brush time, but also tells you if you are brushing too hard. If you are brushing too hard, a sad face will appear on the indicator. I was surprised how often this happened -- and it showed me, for the first time, that I was not brushing properly. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was that every 30 seconds, the toothbrush heads would slow down for a split second, to indicate another 30 second cycle had just passed. I don't think it was necessary for Braun to implement this feature. It's not a deal breaker, certainly -- but I do agree with other Amazon reviewers that it can be annoying. At first, the thought of having a phone app for brushing your teeth seemed ludicrous. However, after using the included gauge --- and becoming dependent on it --- I can see how an app would be perfect when traveling. Think about it.....you can leave the gauge at home and use the mobile app instead to show you your progress and indicate when you are not brushing correctly. Now to debunk some prior review myths.... Yes, it is true, it takes a full 24 hours to initially charge this toothbrush. That's kind of crazy. However, I suppose no big deal. Some have said that the charging light is overly bright to the fact that it's almost like having a night light in their bathroom. This is not true. Yes, it has a blinking blue charging light, but in total darkness, it did not become bright enough to be distracting. Yes, it's a little noisy when being used. However, not the point where you are going to wake up everyone in the house. If you are like me and keep the bathroom door closed, nobody is going to be awakened by this toothbrush. The 7000 series is a bit larger and heavier than the older Braun toothbrushes. However, it does seem to be more powerful. I also feel a better clean, overall, using this series over the older model. It comes with, I believe, 3 brush heads. A registration coupon inside offers a $3 savings on replacement heads plus an additional $7 off coupon when you register online. There is a beautiful travel case included. I agree with one reviewer that the travel case might be better if it had air vents. However, if you thoroughly dry your toothbrush prior to putting it in the case, I don't see any problems. Braun has moved from the fully upright charging stand to a flat dock. I like this design. It includes a covered area to store toothbrush heads for members of your family. With the included Amazon clip coupon, I ended up paying about $120 for this toothbrush. It's pricey...yes...but once you start using it with the included gauge, you will look forward to using it every morning.

Complicated but works
I've used a cheap spin-brush pro for close to 10 years and saw a significant improvement in my dental health from it at dentist visits, but lately I've gotten tired of the decreased battery life and it missing some places in interdental regions. I decided to take the plunge and purchase an over-priced oral B. I have no desire to use bluetooth function or any of the bells or whistles but I compared the 5500, 7000, and genius 8000 versions all in black. The final decision went to price, discounts available, and whether replacement heads and a travel case was present. So I went with the 7000. Unboxing- the box is as unnecessarily complicated as the brush. I should've taken a picture of all the boxes within boxes within folds, it covered over half my queen-size bed. They could take a lesson from Ikea, the total box size could've been halved with far less packaging. Anyway, The brush is attractive, not over-bearingly/fatiguingly heavy, but is NOT all black. The whole sides are silver plastic and all the heads are white. The cord/charger are white and the cord is a bit stiff with lots of memory so I had to use cord clips and a tie to train it/tuck it out of the way along my mirror. The cord is a decent length but it can't stray far from a vanity or sink area so plan accordingly with your bathroom outlet set up. Not a secure fit onto charger but charger base doesn't slide around and sits nicely on surfaces. It came with a large fold out user manual bigger than most of my other electronics. It came with a booklet of coupons WHICH WERE EXPIRED 7/31/2018 (I purchased item 1/13/19) The travel case has a nice feel but you have to remove heads to use it, there are slots for 2 heads. There is a separate plastic/rubbery pouch for the charger/cable I'm assuming? Too much of hassle, an ideal travel case would fit everything in one place so you don't forget anything and can grab one thing when you need to brush your teeth. There is a surround-snap-on head holder that fits over the charger that I won't use. Then there is the smart control device which takes 2 AAA batteries (comes with duracell AAA's!). The design is poor as to change settings, sync the device etc, the buttons are hidden- you have to unsnap the device from the mirror holder case, and remove the back plate of the device itself to access the buttons and batteries. It has a clock feature on the left, a smiley (and potentially frownie) face on the left, and other places where TINY icons will appear based on what you're doing with the brush itself. I started charging the brush at around 8:30 pm and it can take up to 24 hours to fully charge the first time. Mine took over 20 hours. They want you to keep it on the charger all the time saying it's "impossible to over-charge" but that they recommend fulling discharging the unit at least every 6 months. There is no reassuring click/clunk/chonk/snap when you put the phone on the charger- it just sits and can wobble on the post. The brush itself is only semi-sturdy sitting upright on surfaces- It can take a mild brush/wobble of a few degrees in any direction and stay upright, but for the price I'd be scared to leave it lying around upright where it could get knocked. The manual specifically states it's FORBIDDEN to be dropped. The brush functions/motion is good but there is heavy vibration of the whole handle, more than others I've tested. The custom light up colors, sensors, functions seem to work well but I am only using 1-2. There are 2 timing settings - profession which breaks down sections by 30 seconds or just the regular 2 minute timer. Deep clean timer is 3 minutes. Pressure sensor function works and gives warnings with lights and visuals. One day if I'm bored and twiddling my thumbs I'll test set up and connectivity with my cell phone (Samsung Note 8) but I have no intention of using/keeping an app for this long term ever. I'm happy with the brushing function and mouth feel afterwards, the rest is all unnecessary. The price on amazon was discounted to $110.24 (still too much), I used a coupon discount for $20 off, a gift card for $18, and $36 in rewards pounts to make this less than $40 out of pocket. So my judgement of long term value and durability will be based on both prices. If you really read the manual it tells conflicting stories of it a) being built to survive in a bathroom (where heat/humidity is absolutely assumed), but warns that b) it shouldn't be used in the bath/shower, be submerged, or getting the handle wet. It also wants you to dismantle and wipe/clean the unit after every use. Based on some pictures from other users, it does seem there is some rusting/corrosion issues, so it's unclear if its just from existing in the bathroom environment or if those units were cleaned regularly, or if there were leaks in the casing rendering them not actually water proof or even resistant. It comes with 3 heads - cross brush, 3D white, and sensitive brush. After using this for several days, I've learned there are things you can't do. You can't apply toothpaste and turn it on. The brush has to be in your mouth against your teeth and behind your lips before you can turn it on, otherwise it flings toothpaste EVERYWHERE with surprising velocity and arc. This is a pain because you have to fumble to hit the mode button which is hidden from sight in the mirror against you while using the brush if you want to change the mode right away. I also can't fit the normal amount of toothpaste on the little head so I have to stop and reapply for the bottom teeth halfway through my brushing to continue. I still find the brush doing a great job and the timer definitely prevents me from taking short cuts. I'd recommend this brush to others based on my experiences thus far, but only if you can get it heavily discounted and only if you are not easily stressed.

Worth every penny! How do you put a price on good oral care/health?
I need to weigh in on this product. This is the THIRD Oral-B that I have had; the second Triumph. I admit that this is a pricey "disposable" brush however over the last almost 19 yrs have used nothing but. (My brushes lasting from 5-7 yrs before that battery dies makes the math not too far off when buying new toothbrushes on a regular basis). To me, the benefits of this brush FAR outweigh the cost. If you have perfect teeth and no issues, maybe you can forgo. However for some in the population, this toothbrush alone is the reason for great check ups, virtually no plaque and cavities to say nothing of the whiter teeth and brighter smile. (Recommended by my dentist almost 20 yrs ago!). Some have complained about the length of time to charge the toothbrush. If you need to use it while it is taking 24hrs to charge, you can stop it, use the brush and put it back on the charger. Not a deal breaker. I've read that people have mentioned the flashing blue light as it charges. It can be annoying I suppose, but the toothbrush is in the bathroom charging and, looking on the bright side, can be a beacon pointing you to the commode. Once the handle has the full charge the light goes off. Some have complained about the "1-2 second delay" after each 30 second period of brushing. It is nowhere near that. A second is "one thousand one; one thousand two". It does hesitate (all of them did/do to indicate the time to switch quadrants of your mouth in brushing) but nothing even close to a full second rather than two. When it hesitates, switch quadrants and by the time you get there you are off and spinning again. Some complained about how the battery runs down quickly especially when traveling. I agree. It does. I travel extensively and I think it has to have something to do with the x-ray or the high altitude in flight. No kidding. When traveling by car, the charge seems to last longer. Not sure why that is. So, now I just throw my charger in my suitcase (since the toothbrush battery seems to eventually die, I have extra chargers). I just keep one charger in my bag that is always packed for those last minute trips or I am packing so quickly I fear I may forget something important. A couple of the reviews think the clock/brushing timer is a waste of money. Not me. I like that little guy smiling at me especially in the morning and many times at night. In my line of work (the medical field) I don't get a lot of smiles. Could they have chosen a better color than black? Yep. However, I've had white ones for the last 19 yrs and it's a welcome change. And this case is definitely classy. I had cases for my last toothbrush but this one is VERY lovely. In summary, if you want excellent check ups, brighter whiter teeth without all of these expensive toothpastes, clean teeth ALL the time then it is worth the purchase. There is often a coupon available for these toothbrushes either on Oral-B website or your dentist.

Cleaner Teeth in 30 Days!
By far best toothbrush I've ever owned. First high end electric one as well. The only ones I've ever used are the cheap ones where you have to change batteries. First time I used it I could feel a huge difference. And see a huge difference. For the first time ever, I could see through the tiny little spaces of my front teeth because they weren't clogged with plaque. I've never been able to do that with a regular toothbrush before. Only the dentist could get them cleaned up that well, and then this toothbrush just came through on my first use just totally brushed it all away. My mouth seriously felt like I had just gone to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and it feels amazing. I don't even brush my teeth with this one anymore. It also has a light on it that will light up red when you are brushing too hard just in case which I've noticed goes off a lot when I'm in a hurry and trying to brush really fast. It's easy to notice. The toothbrush will also decrease the power of the brush when you do brush too hard to help prevent damage to your gums. The travel case it comes with is super nice and sturdy so you don't have to worry about the toothbrush or your brushes getting crushed in your luggage. If you do travel a lot, you'll also be glad to know that the toothbrush last forever on a single charge. I use Crest 3D white toothpaste for about three months with this toothbrush and the result is significantly difference! Not only that I have been brushing smarter, but I also floss every day to maintain my bright smile. Thankfully, this is one of the best investment for my oral health. The instructions say to fully discharge the battery once every six months to help preserve it's longevity and when I did it, it took over two weeks for the battery to die, and I brush twice a day. The brush heads are super durable. They're plenty soft enough so it's not uncomfortable but they also last way longer than a regular toothbrush does. I've been using the same two heads now for eight months and they still look almost brand new. Absolutely no smashed or frayed bristles and they still clean super good. The instructions recommend changing the brush heads every 3-4 months but I don't see why you should when they still look brand new after eight months of use. The only bad thing is that I never really use the bluetooth feature. The app is nice but I don't think very many people will really find it useful or have the dedication to use it consistently every time you brush. Most people don't want to have to whip out their phone and turn on bluetooth then open the app every time they brush their teeth. If Oral-B has a brush that cleans just as well as this one does but without bluetooth for less of the cost, I would have gone with that one. That being said, I'm not sure if they do actually have one that does clean as well as this one, or if they do have one that is just like it but without the bluetooth, but if they do, that would be my recommendation for anyone looking to get one. The bluetooth feature just isn't really all that great. Overall though, it's an awesome product and I'm happy with my purchase.

Testament to quality engineering and dependable design!
This toothbrush is absolutely amazing. I've been using the Oral-B Pro 7000 since 2016, and nearly a decade later, it’s still going strong. I’m only now considering replacing it—not because it’s stopped working, but because I’m curious about the newer models and updated technology. What truly stands out is the durability and reliability of Oral-B as a brand. In a time where many electronics seem built to fail within a couple of years, the Pro 7000 has proven to be a long-lasting investment in my dental health. The cleaning performance has been consistently excellent over the years, and I’ve never had any issues with the motor, battery, or brush head connection. If you're looking for an electric toothbrush that truly lasts and delivers excellent results every single time, I highly recommend the Oral-B Pro 7000. It’s a testament to quality engineering and dependable design.

It like having your dental hygienist cleaning your teeth.
I have cerebral palsy so a electric tooth bush is a must as manual I miss a lot. This baby cost a lot but it feels like a dental hygienist tool in your mouth. I had a lot of Oral-B brushes under $50 and they never worked this way and my teeth feels so clean. I brought this mainly due to the fact I missed my floss action head which I used on my old one. I believe the floss action is the best head ever made by Oral-B. Due to power issues at my old apartment two of my bases died I believe. Update: I been using this for 4 years and it does a great job. They seem to updated this model because I don't have Bluetooth built in to my 7000. I don't really see the point it better to look at the display that sits by the sink anyway. Daily Clean - This is the first setting and what flashing on the Smart timer which gives you a smiley face if you brush for 2 mins. I used this and it felt like a dentist hygienist tool in my mouth. Like I was laying in a chair having my teeth clean. It felt much different then any other Oral-B I ever used for sure. Whitening - I switch heads to the pro white and again felt the same. I have used this head in the pass and I know it works pretty good. Smart guide or timer I call it flashes each section of a circle. This is suppose to be a outline of your mouth right top / bottom then left top / bottom. The goal is to brush each part for the full time it flashes which is 30 secs. Over all I believe it will take time to get brushing the way the smart guide wants. If you need a new toothbrush this is the one to get. The price is high but I swear my teeth feels like I went to my dentist and had my teeth clean. The black looks slick also and the carry case is awesome. I just notice after 6 days the handle says TRIUMPH Professional Care it on the side sliver part.

braun makes the best electric brushes, but the 7000 is probably overkill
Love oral-b tooth brushes. The 7000 probably has too many unnecessary features like Bluetooth, and the accessories are not really useful, but it's still the best electric tooth brush you can buy. The charger says 110v but it charges in India (!) not sure if it's going to be a problem

subpar battery
I bought this believing that it is from a reputable brand, so, it would provide long-lasting performance. Unfortunately, after just 3-4 months of use, the battery's condition has deteriorated significantly, almost rendering it useless. The charging process now takes more than 24 hours, and once fully charged, it can only last for 2-3 uses before running out of power again. I had high expectations for this toothbrush, assuming it would be durable and reliable due to its reputed brand. However, the short battery life and extended charging time have been major disappointments. The inconvenience of having to wait an entire day for it to charge and then experiencing it deplete after just a few uses has been frustrating. This experience has left me questioning the quality of products from Oral B.
