Place stategicly for best results.
Moved into a new home and the flies just swarmed in from outside as soon as I opened the back door. Placed a few of these in strategic places and fly problem resolved. Still have some for next summer.

Seems easy to use
Getting it open is a trick. Must pull and twist at the same time to open wide. Maybe it takes awhile to open for full use. It is damned sticky and if anything gets on it there is no escape. Fast shipping, quality packing and easy use. Finding good spots to hang them is the only problem and that is all on us. Thanks!

Extremely Effective, Chemical-Free Solution — Perfect for Warm Climates
We used these fly strips while living in the Caribbean, and they were a real lifesaver. In a hot, humid environment where flies and fruit flies multiply fast, we wanted to avoid chemical sprays — especially with kids in the house. These did exactly what we needed. They work surprisingly well when placed correctly. Once hung near entry points, trash areas, plants, or lights, they filled up quickly. You can literally see results within hours. The glue is very strong, and when a fly lands, that’s it. No buzzing, no toxins, no smells. Are they pretty? No. Are they effective? Absolutely yes. The value is excellent — 40 strips last a long time and let you experiment with placement to find the most effective spots. In warm weather, they perform even better, which makes them ideal for tropical or summer environments. We especially appreciated having a non-chemical option that actually works. A couple of tips from real use: Pull them out slowly (they’re very sticky and can tear if rushed) Place them close to the fly source for best results Great near lights at night or near plants and trash bins If you’re dealing with flies, gnats, or fruit flies and want a safe, low-cost, proven solution, these strips absolutely deliver. We would buy them again without hesitation.

catching flies
We had so many fruit flies it was insane. These traps work amazingly and attract the fruit flies and catch them. Within, no time the strip was covered.

These do not attract flies!!😔
These do not attract flies. I have three hanging in my horse barn and there are no flies on the sticky tape. The tape is sticky but whatever they use to attract the flies does not work. I definitely would not buy again. They were a waste of money.

Good Quantity and Effective When Placed Correctly, But Flimsy Strips are a Headache
This 40-pack of fruit fly and gnat traps is a decent product for tackling indoor and outdoor pest problems, offering a substantial quantity that provides good value for a seasonal issue. The sticky surface does successfully trap flies and gnats once they land on it. Major Drawback: Quality and Usability: The biggest frustration is the physical quality of the traps. They are not easy to pull out of the packaging or handle without damage—the strip material frequently breaks or tears during deployment. Furthermore, the small holes and design make them not necessarily attractive to flies in open air. Placement is Key: To achieve any real success, you absolutely need to put them near a trash can or directly next to the source of the flies. This requirement, combined with the difficulty of sticking the fragile strips, means a lot of hassle for effective placement. Seasonal Value: I've already used five of the traps just trying to get them deployed and positioned, which is a high consumption rate. Since I'm using these seasonally, I am cautiously hoping the large quantity will last into next year. If the remaining strips degrade over the winter, they will essentially be a waste, as they are only useful when the pests are active.
