It's also noteworthy that the macro capabilities of this camera are related to the attached lens more that the camera body itself. The bundled NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S has a minimal focus distance of just 30cm which will be useful for most situations, however if you plan on shooting your subjects closer a dedicated macro lens may prove useful.
