Great Monitor
I wanted an affordable monitor with good response time and low input lag and I have got it with this monitor. I have stepped up my game play since playing on this instead of my 50+ inch tv. Although those things are minor any advantage is a good one in a shooter.

This is a very nice monitor, and much better than the Samsung competitor that I've also been looking at buying more than 600 of. However, I'll probably have to go with the Samsung option because they are much more affordable. Asus doesn't come down on their prices.

Nice Bright Monitor
I bought a pair of these to use in my home office. They are nice and bright. I like the idea of a blue filter, it obviously dims the screen a bit. But you get used to it after a while. It is hard to tell if the blue filter really helps. Putting the two screens as close together as I can, I have almost an inch of a black border from one screen to the other. (15/16" if you want exact) The bottom of the screen sticks out a bit which keeps a small gap between the two screens instead of touching along the entire side. It is a slightly larger gap when you angle the screens toward the user instead of being completely flat. This is still far better than the "framed" monitors I am replacing. Also with the two monitors, I noticed that one is a bit different color than the other. If I put a duplicate window with a white background on each monitor, one looks white, and the other one is tinted orange. I went through all the settings and made sure everything was set exactly the same. I ended up moving the whiter monitor to where I usually do most of my work and the oranger one is to the right. If you are a graphics designer, you might want to be careful with this. For me it is an annoyance, I do however find myself moving windows to the whiter monitor more than I had in the past. which I guess defeats the purpose of multiple monitors.

Nice Monitor - Buy ask yourself, Do You Feel Lucky?
This is indeed a beautiful monitor and good value as long as it works. But if you have a problem you will sadly learn how completely worthless Asus customer service is. And you will learn that their warranty is total BS. We bought a dozen of them for my company. In about 6 months one of the 12 developed a problem with a shaky image on the screen. We first tried to contact technical support via their website using their online form. Received an email stating that we would hear back from them in 48 hours. 10 days later, not having heard from them we once again submitted a request using the online submission form on their website and received another email stating that we would hear back from them in 48 hours. In about 27 hours they wrote back to apologize that we were having trouble with our monitor and explaining that they are having trouble with their email system and asking me to answer all the questions again (name/address/place of purchase/date of purchase/serial number/model number/description of problem). The absurdity of this request is that all of this information can be seen when I check the status of my service request on Asus.com. So they have this information and are asking me to tell them a third time. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. I called and their overseas technical support people are equally useless in processing a request. And they tell me despite their advertised "Advance Replacement" warranty they need me to send in the defective monitor for repair and expected wait of 7 business days (9-11 actual days for the repair plus another couple of days for shipping in each direction). That is not Advance replacement by any means and so I will be reporting this to the appropriate agencies. Asus used to be great but since they started marketing products directly braded with their own name they forgot to build the customer support and warranty support part of their business. Unless you are feeling lucky, and hope that you get one of good ones, you would be much better off buy Samsung. Sometimes a bargain is not a bargain. And with Asus that is most certainly the case.

When I got this I thought there was a problem with the alignment of the ports but it turns out my screws were screwed in tightly. Came quickly in good condition and so far looks good
