I love this jacket!!! Nice deep pockets including a chest pocket. The battery is in a very comfortable spot, can't even tell it's there. The cut makes me look thinner than I really am. I love the material. The jacket itself is extremely warm and comfy. Add the heat for extremely cold days.

This was a gamble that paid off. The jacket is definitely well designed and fits perfectly. The battery lasts longer than I expected and “seals” in your body temperature even when you’re not using the heating element. On the highest setting there is no “burn” feeling just a comfortable overall warmth. You don’t even notice that you’re carrying a battery pack when you’re wearing. Actively using it for a almost a month and no complaints

This is a great coat! It heats up really fast. It fits well. It arrived on time as described. This is the second coat I have purchased and I would buy it again.

12/15/20 Update - the heating element on my jacket stopped working roughly 1 month after purchasing. I have 2 batteries that are fully charged yet it won't even turn on. Waiting to hear from Venustas about this issue. I received this item last week. I work for the USPS where I walk outside roughly 15 miles per day in the elements in Northern Indiana. I'll start by saying that the coat looks great. Everything about it looks like it should cost $150 and the materials feel very high quality as well as it being very modern and stylish. If this were a jacket that had "North Face" stamped on it I could easily see people buying it at this price without the heating element. The Jacket is made of water resistant material. I've found through using it in the rain that if it is a light rain everything will roll off the jacket. But if it is raining heavily rain will penetrate the jacket and you will need to wear a rain coat over it you are outside for a prolonged periods of time. The button on the jacket you use to turn it on also looks just damn cool when it's on especially at night. It's an LED circle that lights up either blue, white or red depending on the heat setting you choose. If you are buying this jacket and plan on only using the heating element 3-4 hours or less on the lowest heat setting before recharging it then this is a great heated jacket for you. Even on the lowest setting you really can feel the warmth it creates. From testing it with two Venustas batteries I got about 3-4 hours of heat on the lowest setting, 2.5-3 hours on the medium setting and 1.5-2 hours on the highest heat setting. So if you are buying this jacket because the description says the heating element will last 9-11 hours on low and you want to have it turned on all day then be aware it lasts less than half that length and you will need to buy at least another battery to get 7+ hours from the heating feature even on the lowest setting. As I said, when the battery/heater was working it felt great. I wore just a shirt and the jacket so I didn't feel all heavy and bundled up, but still felt warm. It really allows you to move very quickly outside when it's working since you don't have to have all those layers on. So if you're buying this with the intention of only using it an hour or two then it's probably 5/5, but I bought it based on the claims that the battery would last all day on the low setting. I would have given this a 3.5/5, but the Venustas support team was 10/10 on communicating with me and responding to my issues so overall I'd give the jacket a 4/5. This will be a great heated jacket that is made of great materials and very stylish to many. But if you expect to buy this jacket with the single battery and have it heat you all day then this ain't it.

Upon arrival followed instructions letting battery charge fully before first use. Very weak heating even on the highest setting, you can barely tell it's on. When the wind blew I could really tell the heating elements are very poor quality. Especially when Milwaukee and DeWalt heated ware is on the market for almost the same price. Works great as a regular jacket though albeit an overpriced one, the battery is multi use as well. All in all not happy I bought an over priced run of the mill coat and portable device charger, but what'd ya do it was black Friday and it's cold in Wisconsin.

I have been searching high and low for a heated vest or jacket! I am always cold! Always. However I am a plus size woman and I can never find anything that will fit me I have tried 3 other brands from Amazon and they were way too small. I found this one and they only come in plus sizes. Yahhh!! I normally wear a 3x comfortably and I always have layers so I can stay warm well I did go a size up but I don’t think I would have had to, it was true to size I have lots of wiggle room I was nervous about getting my size because nothing has ever fit me before. This is men’s so I should have went with a 3x but was still nervous! The sizing is perfect even with layers on undeneath I still had plenty of wiggle room. I am so very excited I found this and it fits!! It has pockets and it gets warm fast. I was too excited to try it on and write a review that I didn’t wear it long enough to see how long the battery last. However it has a different plug so the battery pack is not universal it has a special plug for this jacket only but it does have a usb and usbc on other end, and the battery pack comes with its own charger. I am so happy I got this jacket!

We bought a jacket for my daughter last winter and she loves it so much I bought one for husband this year. The insulated jacket is great quality on its own and very warm. There is no heat in the arms but it was not mentioned to be an issue. It is very easy to use and keeps them very warm. No more bulky winter coats for them. The fit is on par, I suggest you measure to make sure you are ordering the right size. They like the heated shoulders that the other coats didn't have. She even wore hers for Ice Fishing on an open aired lake and didn't get cold. The battery for my daughter's jacket is defective and no longer works after just one winter season usually on low but I will contact the company about that and see. I believe there may be a warranty. Aside from this no other concerns. Good buy!

Just want to say how unbelievably happy and surprised my wife and I are after purchasing this jackets. We were not expecting much, but it have surpassed expectations with the quality of the jackets. The fit and look is great. We read the history of the product and it was nice to see such personal commitment to the development of the product. We have not yet had a chance to try the battery at length, but i’m hoping there are no battery issues as we have seen some minor comments online - - but for each concern that’s been expressed, customer service seems as amazing as the jacket itself so we are not worried. In fact, I purchased two at Christmas and expect to be purchasing a couple more over the coming weeks.

Well made product and would buy it again anytime ! Although this is not a winter jacket, the heated elements will do nothing when it is really cold outside (-15 celcius or -26 Farenheit). It is made for fall weather!
