Kohler Disposal Flange With Stopper

I had the standard silver insinkerator flange and had my contractor replace it with this one. It looks so much better! I also love the matching stopper.

Lovely! Exactly what I wanted and matched my gold faucet well. Appears sturdy. I’ve only been using it a couple weeks but no chipping or issues with it all. Cant comment on the installation as a plumber put everything in. He didn’t comment on anything being difficult, poor quality, or broken. Will update if it starts to chip or break.

Installing the disposal flange is a good job for two people: one holds the flange in position from above, and the other pushes up the split wire snap ring. Pushing down on the flange from above is also a good idea while jacking the disposal into final position: significant upward force is needed to compress a new rubber gasket enough to engage the three "threads" on the mounting ring. All of that upward force is exerted on the split wire snap ring, which could tend to pop off. Once the heavy disposal is locked and hanging from the sink, gravity tends to hold the assembly together - so the split wire snap ring is no longer under much force. However, the design of your split wire ring and mounting ring might be different - read the other reviews about compatibility problems with this Kohler flange. Overall, the Kohler 11352 is an okay product of light duty construction and mediocre quality control. Our sample has prominent polishing marks, and they do show after installation. This is not in the same class as the Kohler 84804 / 8799 sink strainer, which is a gorgeous example of premier manufacturing. It's not a great value, but at least it doesn't have the billboard-like lettering that sadly scars the Insinkerator disposal flange.

This flange matches the gold Kohler kitchen faucet I have. It looks great and did cost a bit more than all the others, which is the reason I gave it only a 3 star for "value for the money." We have had no problems with it as it was professionally installed. I would purchase it again because it matches so good.

Once installed there is no need to remove it plumbers putty upon installation will prevent any leaks around edges

Fits my Koehler farmhouse sink and my KitchenAid disposal just fine. Color is not a perfect match for the faucet set, but I didn’t expect it to be. Happy to have a brass option instead of having to use the stainless steel that came with the disposal.
