CO-Z 1" 25mm Button Badge Maker Machine + 1,000 Parts + Circle Cutter

This is so fun! The kids and I are having a blast making buttons. It's easy to set up and easy to use. It's SUPER durable. I love that you can unscrew the handle so it can fit in the art cupboard.

Had high hopes for saving some money here...but I have to say my personal experience does not line up with the good reviews, which is really a testament to poor quality control and consistency, I think. The item appears to be well made and a good value for the money, and I am sure there are plenty of them that work just fine, however mine has an alignment issue which causes the badge to get flattened on one side. The dies are not lining up properly, and the metal is getting caught between the dies, and I do not get a full crimp of the plastic cover and back piece. The badges can easily be pulled apart, and the plastic cover gets cut by the die instead of tucking in as it should. I could get better results by doubling up the plastic, meaning part of the problem is the quality of the materials for the buttons, but I would still get a flat part on the button and a loose crimp. This is going back and I will save my money to buy a better machine...

Worked great for about the first 50 or 60 buttons, then it started occasionally misaligning the pieces, ruining the buttons. Also, doesn't take standard 1 inch buttons, you have to get 25mm instead, and they are harder to find.

Best thing I've ever bought

This thing is awesome!!! The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because it had no instruction manual, faq, or tips. The machine could use some guidance for troubleshooting - but common sense works as well.

Touched base with this company. If you're wanting different badge sizes, they told me you would have to buy a whole new system. The only difference is the mold. I love the badge maker, but the company that makes it is a racket.

I'm trying really hard to "deal" with this button maker. Does it work? No, not really! The instructions are worthless. One of the images in the amazon page has better instructions as they are in color, so a bit more legible. The arm and press does not comeback to the starting position without me taking the extra step to pull it up. It jams a lot. I've watched Youtube videos and read the other reviews that were helpful in dealing with my frustrations. I'm being extremely careful in all of placement of individual pieces and bought paper that fit the specs provided. I'm at a 50 percent success / failure rate having made 4 that look pretty good when finished. I'm going to try a few more to see if this is something I'm doing wrong, maybe I need practice. I'm honestly ready to send it back (apparently I hate quitting more than I hate this machine). I'd buy a different machine if I were you, or, if I were me reading this review (because of my loop of hate mastery over this machine). The photo is 3 of my 4 failures not including the few lost to the learning curve. These 3 were made in succession after making 4 good pins. REALLY? The time I spend frustrated, babying, and unjamming the pin-maker to make ONE pin might be better used to zipping through more successful pins with a better machine. Did I mention I returned this item?!

Works great! I just wish it wasn't that hard to buy different sizes!
