I recently purchased this for my 14 year old grandson as a summer project. We enjoyed assembly and testing this robot. He was fascinated by the projects included with the various options and learned a good deal from the programming of arduino to make the robot work. We had no issues with assembly and the instructions were easy to follow. I recommend this to anyone wanting to learning about programming an arduino for controlling robotics.

Challenging kit, encouraging thinking skills and fun to play with when done

My 12 year old grandson loved this!! It was challenging, but he built it in four hours and loves it. I highly, VERY highly, recommend! There were many learning opportunities for him while building this. And he enjoyed every second. This is an awesome product!

Nephew finished same day, added own additional features.

Wehn my son put it together everything was going very well. It was passing the test steps the first time everytime until it came to testing the IR sensor after it was installed. That test failed. Months later we were told a replacement would be sent and it never arrived. Then another was sent and it arived and also failed the test. YOu can not build anthing productive until the later steps and the IR issue ensures failure. Had we seen the other poor reviews with IR sensor issues we would not have bought this.

This was a Gift for a very smart 13yr. Old.
