This is my new fav edge control. I usually test them by wearing it to the gym and though my edges weren’t the same after, they were still pretty much in tact. To be fair, I do pretty intense workouts. The only one that has lasted all the way through is the gorilla snot and earwax and that one has a little TOO much hold. I love the way Ebin smells and I do not necessarily have to use a scarf to get it to stay, though it does last longer when I lay it down. In my hair it does turn white, but a little bit of hair spray is a quick and easy solution to that. For context, I have natural hair that is 3c. On the other hand, my girlfriend has locked 4c hair. She has trouble with keeping her edges slicked down, but she used some of my Ebin during a recent vacation and just asked me where I got this from. It did not turn white in her hair. I guess it just varies from person to person but, again, just a little hair spray should get rid of that. I wasn’t initially going to buy this but I was looking at the maya double sided edge control brushes (which I apply this with) after the little $1 one I got from the beauty supply store broke. Long story short, this is my new fav. And the smell is honestly amazing! It’s like a fruity/floral mix.

This works...let’s start there. When you first apply it, your edges are laid, neat, and looking like you really took your time. It gives that clean finish that pulls a whole look together. But over time, depending on your hair type and the day you’re having, it may not stay exactly the same all day. It’s not terrible, just not that “locked in forever” hold. The texture is nice, not flaky, and it doesn’t leave that weird buildup some edge controls do. Overall, it’s a solid product, just don’t expect it to fight humidity and life stress at the same

This is my favorite product. However, it was my fault that I didn't read the size of the jar. For 2 more dollars I could have gone to the beauty supply and gotten the bigger jar that I always purchase. I didn't know they made a small jar. I thought I was getting a good deal. Shame on me!!! I'm keeping it though. That shows how much I LOVE IT!!!! Next time I'm going to the beauty supply, LOL!!

Size is not what I expected for the price point. The size is a sample size and not full size at all. Not greasy. Feels lightweight. Because of the size I will not purchase again

I mostly use the "Acai berry" due to its fragrance, but recently tried the "wild berry". Both have performed the same though as far as holding, but I have to say that use this in combination with GOT 2 B "glued blasting freeze spray"... I don't like ALOT of product in my hair, but honestly - when I am wanting a certain style , I have to use certain things to accomplish that. Sooo, I am happy with the combination of using this product with the Got 2 B (because) the gel works for me in the area of softening / conditioning as well as the smooth hold that I love --- but I apply the Got 2 B for holding as long as I want it to (since GOT 2 B holds on a more stiffer side), I get the balance that I want between hold and smoothness. I use this not just for edges, but for smoothing out the perimeter of my hair when doing updo's and pony tails with my natural coily hair. I USE THE GEL ALONE WHEN IT COMES TO DOING BRAIDS AND TWISTS WITH NATURAL HAIR AND HAIR EXTENSIONS THOUGH, it's perfect for me when using on various hair textures and have not found a hair texture that I do not like to use it on as of yet.

The picture shown was not the size I expected. My thumb was bigger than the jar I thought it was a bottle cap!

People who moaning about how small it is you should read before you buy 0.5oz it’s good enough to try it out and it works amazing really holds the hair down all day good for 4c hair wrap a scarf in your head then it will lay for the whole day

This product does not do what they claim. It holds down my 4c hair for a very short time like 2hrs. Style factor is still better for me.

Absolutely perfect! Especially as a woman with 4c hair, I was able to lay it down and keep it down. smells just like a jolly rancher! Would buy again.
