Very easy to use for all ages and worth the money!

This AFMAT PS91 Electric Pencil Sharpener is hands down the best sharpener I’ve ever owned! I bought it mainly for my art classes, and now both I and my students are obsessed with it. Kids friendly and perfect size to put in a corner of my class .. i keep it near sink area .. It sharpens color pencils, graphite, and regular pencils so beautifully — fast, smooth, and without breaking the tips. I’ve tried it with Prismacolor, Caran d’Ache, and Amazon Basics color pencils — all sharpened perfectly to a fine, even point without the usual chipping. Even sketching pencils like H, 3H, and HB come out neatly pointed and ready to draw. It works equally well for all our Indian brands like Doms, Camel, Apsara, etc. The sharpness is consistent every single time. It’s quick, quiet, and powerful, saving me so much time during classes — no more students crowding around manual sharpeners or broken leads everywhere. I did not expect to develop strong emotional feelings about a pencil sharpener, yet here we are. This AFMAT electric pencil sharpener is an absolute pencil-devouring beast. You feed it a sad, dull pencil, and seconds later it spits out a razor-sharp writing instrument ready to tackle crossword puzzles, grocery lists, or the next great American novel. The best part? It PLUGS IN. No charging. No hunting for a USB cable that mysteriously vanished into the same dimension as missing socks. No discovering the battery is dead exactly when you need to sharpen 27 pencils. This sharpener is always awake, always ready, and apparently fueled by pure determination. The auto-stop feature is fantastic because it knows when to quit better than I do. It sharpens the pencil perfectly and stops before turning it into a toothpick. My old sharpeners made pencils look like they survived a bear attack. This one produces points so sharp I feel like I should sign a waiver before using them. If this sharpener were a person, it would arrive early, bring snacks, and have its life together. Five stars. My pencils have never looked more professional.

The BEST pencil ✏️ sharpener ever!!! We have had this over a year at our homeschool. We use it mostly to sharpen our colored pencils. It is durable, quiet, fast, and it stops automatically when the pencil is prefect!!! It plugs into the wall for power, so you don’t have to worry about batteries. It is fast and does not damage pencils, so they will ultimately last longer. Our classroom uses this product daily. Check out the pictures and movie if you aren’t sure. Also, it is a “hot pink,” my daughter’s favorite color!

I had it for less than 2 months and it completely stopped working randomly. It was never misused. I never even let students use it. when it worked, it was nice and sharpened really well. It was the perfect size for my small desk. But the value for only 6 weeks of functionality is pretty terrible. Not at all durable. Update: the company reached out and made things right. They sent me a replacement which has, so far, worked really well. I will update if that changes, but I can’t complain about their customer service at all.

It's everything they said it would be. A colored pencil sharpener at last. Never thought I'd see the day, when I see a colored pencil so sharp. And sharpens regular pencils to, just FYI. Worth every penny.

I tried a different highly rated brand and was not happy. One of the reviewers mentioned this one. I am really pleased with it. It works perfectly for colored pencils which my first one did not. It'll get them sharper than they started. I find I do need to hold them down while they sharpen unlike some reviewers who say the pencil just pops up when sharp. It's no big deal to me and you can easily feel when it's sharp as the resistance stops. It holds a large amount of shavings which you can see through the canister which is very easy to open. Give this brand a try, you'll be pleased!

The best sharpener I have purchased. The colored pencils my kids use so much, have not broken off have not split, or sharpened on one side. It's fast, easy to clean also!!

Ótimo produto. É elétrico, precisa ficar na tomada para funcionar. Vem com adaptador e carregador. Ótimo, pois você controla a ponta do lápis e também o tempo que fica apontado. Serve para lápis comuns mais finos e lápis jumbo mais grossos. Gostei bastante.

Me encantó. Deja la punta de los lapices de grafito superfina en su máximo nivel. He usado lapices Staedler Mars Lumograph, Staedler Mars Lumograph Black (que son un nivel intermedio entre grafito y carboncillo) y Caran D'ache graphwood ,y deja muy fina la punta en todos estos. Posdata: No he usado Conté a Paris Pierre Noire u otros carboncillos porque para estos prefiero usar una navaja y lija para sacarles punta.

Update: after using for a few days this sharpener has lived up to my expectations, so I've upgraded my original 4* rating to 5*. With some reviews specifically stating that the plug is not UK & others making no mention of what is a rather important element of the product, I asked the question on here and received two very helpful replies confirming that it does not have a UK plug and an adaptor is required. So I went ahead and purchased together with a US to UK adaptor. This is a fabulous sharpener - set to the sharpest point I put it through its paces with various brands of coloured pencils (Holbein, Polychromos, Derwent Artists, Luminance, Derwent Drawing). I expected the Drawing to maybe cause an issue being the thickest core and very soft, but it was no problem; lovely sharp point. Auto stop prevents over sharpening and it is very easy to empty. So I'm delighted with my purchase but would suggest to Amazon that it would be more useful to the customer if the 'Buy It With' section recommends an adaptor rather than rechargeable eraser refills!!

EDIT: Using my sharpener for the second school year since I bought it and it is just as good today as it was in the beginning. Today a lead broke off inside the sharpener and I couldn't get it out. Thought I'd ruined the sharpener. But then read the notes under the description which say to use another pencil to push down and the lead will be ejected. This is exactly what happened and my sharpener is working great again. So thankful for the note in the description. Still highly recommend this sharpener to everyone!
