Great size
Love everything about it.

The glass feels heavy/durable
Feels like the glass is very heavy/durable which is great as I'm clumsy lol - the lid fits good (screws on) and I don't think it will leak at all (have not tested this though)So far really loving the look and feel of this - I also looked at Walmart & Superstore for a pitcher and couldn't find anything that looked like this good of quality (heavy duty glass)It looks like an over sized Mason jar - mouth of the pitcher is 3.25 inches** Update - bought two now and have used one of them multiple times/for so many months. I also dropped it once or twice by accident lol but its held strong. Very happy with the purchases

Solidly built, a pleasure to use
Well constructed, beautiful functional design, absolutely leak-proof (an important feature for me), I'm very pleased with this purchase.

No downsides
This ticked all of the boxes. It fits perfectly in our fridge, we can fit our hand in it to wash it, it’s not too big, not too small, it is made of sturdy thick glass and has a thick, leak proof plastic lid that does not threaten to fall off when tipped…The handle is also perfect as it has a deep groove which helps with stability in case you have small hands like me.What else can I say, it’s sturdy and convenient

Best I’ve found so far for making a half gallon of iced/sweet tea weekly
As part of a shift away from overly-processed and never-ending growing food costs we’ve shifted over time to more home-made. After the local warehouse store (BJs) stopped selling the one decent-tasting iced/sweet tea I could find, that too joined the list of do it myself. As others have mentioned, I’m not convinced this is truly up to typical Ball/mason jar canning abuse with respect to temperatures, but I looked at a lot of different jars, as well as convenience, and while these are a bit over-priced IMO, they do the job well.In my case, I do NOT dump the boiling water into the jars directly, which is possibly why I’ve yet to have any issues. I fill 2 of them (of 4, and now ordering another 2 for use as water pitchers) with filtered water from the frig filter. I dump about .8 liter out of one of them into an electric kettle and then even up the water level between them. I have a larger glass teapot which has held up well, dump the boiling water directly into it, then steep the teabags for ~5-8 minutes, remove, then add in some lemon, sugar, etc, mix it in the teapot itself basically making tea ‘simple syrup’ and then dump into the ~2/3rds filled pair of jugs, add the tops, shake, then into the frig they go. Maybe sounds complicated, but it’s pretty close to zero cleanup - rinse the teapot and spoon and done. The tops seal well, well enough that when screwed on and with the lid closed, I have no fears of shaking vigorously to mix up/make iced/sweet tea. One thing worth noting is you will want to at least occasionally pull the lid silicon sealing ring out to wash separately - initially, I hadn’t been doing this, and then noticed the beginning of some mold - probably not an issue if using only or primarily for water. We go through around a half gallon of iced/sweet tea a week, so I probably remove the ring every other wash or so.The jars also fit very well in our refrigerator door, after trying various half-gallon jugs (few of which had any type of sane pour lid), and really wanted to avoid any type of plastic jugs when dealing with hot/warm water etc… so, while those reviewers posting sporadic/occasional cracking may well be right if making the jugs go through large temp swings, they’ve been working very well for me, to the point am now buying more for general water jugs.
