Can I use this brush with cream foundation? Or does it only work with powder?

You can use it with cream, liquid or powder. I use it with my liquid foundation and it both covers and blends really well.

I know this question was asked already,but I want to confirm with somebody who recently purchased,is the bottom of the brush flat so it stands up?

No. It is slightly rounded. It will not stand up on it's end. It looks just like it does in the photo...with just a little rounded on the bottom. It wouldn't take much to sand a flat spot to make a level bottom. To verify, I check my brush again...it is slightly rounded and not flat to stand on its base. Lovely brush. It is the best brush I have ever owned. Love it!
