Good treadmill. Excellent delivery.
My daughter and I really like this treadmill. Easy to use and quiet. Paying for the delivery + setup was worth every penny! Two men brought it to where I wanted it in the house, assembled it much faster than I would have been able to, and made sure everything worked. They tidied up after themselves, too.

Good Machine, Beware the Bloatware.
The T10 Treadmill from Nordictrack is an awesome upgrade from the 20 year model we had. They are sturdy, reliable and overall, well built machines. IFit, on the otherhand, is comparable to the bloatware loaded on phones and computers. In a never ending race toward subscription eternity, Nordictrack requires an iFit pro membership to use regular subscription fee apps on their system. On top of that, their membership is about $40 a month. You'll need paid subscriptions to Netflix, Primevideo, and/or Spotify in addition if you wantntonwatch those. You can still use the treadmill without an iFit paid membership but I wonder how long that will last.I use an android tablet slung over the treadmill screen if I want to watch videos or use my phone and wireless earbuds to listen to Spotify. Nordictrack would be smart to make these apps free to use on their system. Next time someone asks my opinion about Nrodictrack equipment, I may be more inclined to tell them to shop around for a brand that is less inconvenient. Overall, it doesn't diminish the quality of the machine itself. But a company that creates inconveniences for those that don't pay, that are easy enough to get around, you have to wonder how long until they disable your machine for a fee. It certainly "updates" itself enough. Just my $0.02. Again, an excellent machine that does the job well at a decent cost. Just don't fall prey to the extra expense of the gimmicks.

Great machine. Does exactly what it says it will do
Easy to set up and start using. Great display that doesn't distract from your workout. I love the aux port so I can listen to audiobooks through the speakers while I walk. It isn't overly loud (though it does make noise) and even at my age (late 40s) it doesn't hurt my knees to walk for a long period of time on the machine. I like the handles and plan to use a mobile desk option to get a little work done while on it. The base seems long enough to do that. It's sturdy and stable and takes up less room than models meant for a fitness center. Great value for the cost.

Honest Review of the Entire Process - Purchase/Assembly/Use
I've been looking for a treadmill for quite awhile, and while I would have loved to buy one from Peloton, I didn't want to wait around until May, and I also didn't want to spend a fortune. Believe me, I thought that purchasing a treadmill under $1000 was a risky proposition, but ultimately, I am very happy with T6.5S from NordicTrack. Let me start by saying I was skeptical about the price of $697 from Amazon. Why was it marked down so much? I think I discovered this when the treadmill was delivered to my home. Be aware that this treadmill comes in a very large box and weighs 200 pounds. I paid the extra $20 for it to be delivered to the room of my choice; which was down a flight of stairs that has some pretty tight corners. I live alone, so this was absolutely the best option. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to open the box (which had some pretty severe gouges/rips in it, by the way) until that evening. Had I been able to open it with the delivery crew present, I would have sent it back immediately. The side rail (made of mostly plastic) had ripped from the MDF underlayment (surface just under the tread), and had shattered in multiple places. I discovered this after removing several of the parts and packaging. Well, I went right to my computer and contacted Amazon chat support to inform them of the issue. They were great, actually, and immediately scheduled the delivery of a replacement treadmill. I boxed the damaged treadmill back up, though the email from Amazon that I received a moment later told me that was unnecessary as the Amazon staff that were to pick up the damaged treadmill would bring packing materials. So, a week later the delivery men for the new treadmill showed up. They immediately told me they wouldn't deliver the treadmill down to my basement, but after I told them that I paid for that service and argued a bit, they agreed to. I have to warn you, the design of the packaging of this treadmill is pretty poor. If it is rested on a corner of the box, or even the side with any force, it will likely get damaged. It might be a good idea to warn the delivery guys about this before they transport it to the room of your choice. I also now wonder if Amazon tried to pawn off the damaged one to me initially, knowing full well it was damaged. I guess I'll never know. In any case, the new treadmill made it to my basement unharmed. After unpackaging all of the parts (carefully placing the foam inserts aside in case I had to repackage it), I was confident that nothing had been damaged in transport. I then read the entire assembly manual, which I highly recommend doing, so that you know what is coming. After getting the necessary tools (Screwdriver, adjustable wrench, and a socket set if you have one), I assembled the treadmill in about an hour and a half. I was able to do it myself, but it would certainly be easier with two people; particularly the point where you have to hold the treadmill up at an angle while you assemble the piston that allows you to lift it up and down for storage if you want to (I just leave mine down). Once the entire treadmill was assembled, I plugged into the wall with a power strip (also, recommended) and turned it on. Yes, I'm sure you've read all of the other emails about the requirement to sign up for iFit. Well true, the iFit icon does show up on the screen, and there is a bunch of documentation in the packaging about it, but as everyone else has mentioned, you just hold down the iFit logo button on the keypad for about 15-20 seconds and the warning will go away. Note: you need to have the safety/Stop magnet applied to the grab bar, or this process won't work. Also, I've notice that you only need to do this the very first time you power the treadmill on; on every subsequent power-up, it goes straight to the regular dashboard. As far as the functionality of the treadmill goes, it's actually pretty great, and just what I need. It's quite simple with settings for incline and speed (both up to 10) and I like that I can just touch '5' for 5 mph if I want to, instead of using the up or down arrows. There are some other features for different workouts that I haven't used yet, but I'm sure I will get to them. I've also discovered that it is very important to have the treadmill on a very flat surface. Otherwise, the tread will shift to one side. Even with the slightest incline in my floor, I noticed this a little bit. Once I figured out the best placement though, it was fine. Also, I noticed that the surface under the tread was virtually free of oil (probably from laying around in the Amazon warehouse for some time), so I purchased some silicone-based treadmill oil that you apply every 50 miles or so, and it works great! The display also comes with speakers installed, which guess you can plug your iPhone or iPod into with an auxiliary cord. Not sure I'll ever do that, as I just have headphones. Also, the sensitivity of the pulse meter on the grab bar has been hit or miss. Oh well, can't have everything. So, was the process a bit of a pain? Well, yes, but overall, not too bad, and well worth it for the price. I'm totally satisfied with this treadmill and it does everything I need it to do.

Died 20 minutes after professional installation. (UPDATED)
I bought this for my mother, it arrived on time. No issues. I paid for the expert installation, which we had no problems. 15 minutes after the technician left, the thing stopped working. Of course I was at work, so when this occurred my mom did not know what to do. She called the tech back and he confirmed he could not figure out why it stopped. Later that evening I stopped by my moms house to see what the story was. Everything seemed to work except the belt. Now I have to call NordicTrack and see when they can send someone out. Amazon, is pretty good about offering solutions as far as returns. I was given 3 options. 1. Call Norditrack 2. Have a local repair person fix it, and they would refund me $120.00 3. Complete refund on both the unit and shipping (I would assume the 3 year maintenance plan). I am giving this 1 star because despite some of the good and bad stories, there should be no reason why this thing should have died. I am hoping I get a quick response tomorrow and we can work from there. I will update as we go along. ***************UPDATE So it was initially decided that the motor was broken on the machine by the technician who was dispatched about a week later. It took about 2 weeks to receive another motor. Add a few days to dispatch another tech at this point we are talking almost a month since the machine has arrived. (I was actually contemplating of just doing a return because it was nearing the time to pay the charge on my credit card.) Back to the story, so the tech shows up, we have the new motor, and an excited mom, I then find out that its not the motor, but the control panel. Again back to square one, another 2 weeks for delivery. Again a couple days to dispatch a technician once the part arrived. Tech arrived installed the new control panel and the machine runs, and hasn't had a problem since. Its been working with no issues for about 2 months now. Mom is happy, but I'm not really sure it was worth it. At this point I can't recommend purchasing this unit through this sales channel. Amazon was perfect but I don't know if it is Norditrack, the warehouse who holds this equipment, XPO who ships this equipment, the tech who installed this equipment... bottom line... a product was purchased for over $700 and it didn't work for almost two months from the day the transaction was completed. We weren't given anything for our troubles. Yes we weren't told "oh well sorry no refunds, all sales are final", we were offered a refund of $120 if we decided to let Norditrack off the hook and go with a local repair person, but there was nothing saying "we are sorry for what happened, the month and a half that was lost will be on us" (the company that failed to delight you as a customer). The only power as a customer is a review, to forewarn others of such an awful experience. I work in the customer service industry, so I know how hard it can be to please customers. In this case, the product offer and the services to support it were abysmal. Sincerely, Sam K.

Very nice treadmill
Very happy with this purchase - overall well-designed, the belt is smooth and nicely cushioned, and the controls are easy to use with a nice set of options for different workout types. The single-press speed and incline settings are nice to have, and I had no trouble connecting the console to the iFit app on my phone, but it's apparently not possible to connect to it via Bluetooth to play my own audio through the build-in speakers (it does have an aux jack however). As for noise level, I don't find it any louder or quieter than other treadmills I've used. As far as setup goes, be aware that the box is extremely heavy. I'm an average height and weight male and was just able to drag it into my house through the garage from the driveway where it was delivered. So I would say that the additional in-house delivery service is necessary if you don't have a couple of strong people to carry it. I'm fairly handy and assembly took me about 2 hours, but I wasn't able to complete the final step (installing the storage arm under the unit) as there is no safe way to hold the base up while working on it alone (I don't plan to use the storage option anyway). Note that it doesn't come with wheels, so I recommend assembling it in its final placement or getting some furniture sliders if you think you'll need to move it at all. Because I didn't see it in the specifications, I'll note here that the height from the floor to the belt is about 8 inches, if you're concerned about head room due to a low ceiling, as I was. One last thing - the unit won't operate at all unless the safety key (magnetic red plastic box) is in placed on the console, so if you turn the unit on and it does nothing but beep, that is the reason.

Just welcome my new threadmill
Easy assembly and works great. First of all, after extensive research on best treadmills in the internet, many YouTube reviews and assembly videos, taking a close look at the Amazon reviews and looking at the lowest price in CamelCamelCamel, I thought this was the best model for my needs. This treadmill is actually for snowy and raining days, my wife and I prefer running and walking outside but we live in central New York State with a wicked winter. Based on that I selected a model at a more reasonable price tag, plus I waited for the Black Friday deals which worked perfectly. The treadmill will be used by myself and my wife only, we are in our mid-sixties. I run a 5K every morning and after I walk with my wife 4 miles daily. We are in great physical shape but we are not top athletes. Ordering: Be wise and get “Room of Choice Delivery” for $20. It is a very heavy box and my treadmill was going to the third floor. Best spent $20. Assembly: I watched a few YouTube videos, they were very helpful. The assembly movie in Amazon is not for this model. There is also a very useful App recommended by NordicTrack, BILT, it is free and very convenient, get it. The instructions that came with the treadmill were good too. I had the help of my wife, took my time, and after one hour it was all assembled. It went flawless. Nothing came broken and no damage during the installation. I have to say that everything inside the shipping box was well protected during the shipping. Start-Up: First of all, I do not care for using iFIT, I don’t need a coach to energize me, we are always all pump-up about exercising. I use my tablet/Ipad with YouTube, I look for scenic hike like in the Alp’s or the Rockies and that works perfectly for me. My wife watches her own videos or make calls. I don’t think it is necessary to pay for the app. The reviews make it clear that iFIT customer service is very poor and will not help bypassing the app. Maybe if the only charge $5 a month, then maybe you can try it. It is a personal decision. So, I turned it on and press the iFIT button for 15 seconds to defeat the iFIT app. It energized and ready for use. Ready for a test, I raised the incline and it worked, I brought the speed slowly and everything sounded good and worked. Use: So, it snowed in New York and we fully tested the treadmill. I started walking and changed the inclined and accelerated manually. I had my tablet on top of the panel, I could still change speed and incline. As long as the running speed is less than 6 mph the table was stable, once you go up it will rattle a little bit. I had the tablet connected to the speakers; they are no Bose speakers but sounded a lot better than the tablet speaker. The screen gives you enough information and I can see the information without my glasses. I use an Apple watch which is more accurate so I don’t go by the panel on calories or pulse. I tested the various preprogram workouts and they work fine. The motor is not loud even if it is an under $700 treadmill. I ran up to 7 mph and everything was good. I don’t need to go up to 10 mph so I have enough room for running. Ran for one hour and was happy with the machine, had a great workout. It was the first time for my wife to use the treadmill, I explained everything, it was easy, she did her walk changing manually the speed and the incline. She loved the treadmill; I think she will be the may user. Everything works great and it looks good. Stowing: Easy to lift to the stow position and easy to move around. Mine is stationary at a window so I can look out. I will update the review later, it does look very solid, let’s see how long it last. I highly recommend this treadmill for home use, specially if you don’t need a fancy big screen and it is mostly for the days you can’t run/walk outside. Great for just a couple of people with a few hours of usage a day. UPDATE a year later: Still doing great, I am very happy with the purchase. My wife is the one who uses it more frequently but one bad weather days keeps me exercising. I love the simplicity, I can move up and down manually to get he best workout. It has been very reliable up to now. No need for IFit, I still use my table to pick runs and walks that keep me focus on my runs. I still believe it deserves 5 stars.

The Best Treadmill You Can Buy Online
Simply The Best Treadmill You Can Buy Online I bought this treadmill in November 2023, and it took two years of active use for me to leave a detailed review of my experience. For the sake of brevity, I am going to break this review into sections: purchase, delivery, packaging, assembly, aesthetics, and daily use. Lastly, I will provide my personal opinion for those thinking of buying one. Purchase: I bought the NordicTrack T Series 6.5S Treadmill in November 2023 using a free trial of Amazon Prime. I paid about twenty bucks extra for "room of choice" delivery, meaning it would be brought into my living space; otherwise, delivery would be to the front door. Buy it new, as a reconditioned or used model might come with a few missing parts. I did not buy the protection plan, but consider getting one if you're clumsy or the treadmill will be used by multiple people. As a base for the treadmill, I bought the Sunny Health & Fitness Non-Slip Home Gym Mat. Regardless of your floor type, you need a durable mat to keep dust out of the internal components. Delivery: It's better to be at home when this is delivered, and I was home that day. The delivery truck was like one of those moving trucks due to the item's weight. It was a good thing I was home because I helped carry that heavy box to the second floor without it breaking. Packaging: The entire treadmill was well-packaged. The running deck came in one piece, as did the computer screen. Other parts were well-labelled. The dread of putting it all together was too much, so I left the delivery box sitting there for two days. Assembly: They recommend you have another person to help with assembly, but I did it all by myself. The initial step is to identify where you want the treadmill to go and use that space as your assembly area. I live in an apartment, so I chose the living room as the best spot. Carefully remove each part from the box and count them to ensure everything needed is included. The running board is the heaviest, and it comes with the motor pre-installed. Most of the tools needed to put it all together are included. The included diagrammed pictures and instructions can be confusing to follow. I found the diagrams to be full of assumptions and the font was too small to read. But no worries—there are YouTube videos that can help. (I used two YouTube videos to help speed up assembling the treadmill, but Amazon frowns on external links embedded in reviews, so you'll have to do your own search). Both videos offered immense help as I put the NordicTrack treadmill together. Take your time, as this is not a race. It took me several solitary hours to complete the assembly. If you're not good at assembling things or are not mechanically inclined, I would suggest you pay extra for professional assembly. On the other hand, the joy of putting it all together by yourself cannot be quantified. Aesthetics: When fully assembled, the treadmill looks good. It is far better than the ones in my apartment complex gym. The two videos mentioned will show you how to bypass the unwanted membership stuff required by NordicTrack to get the treadmill started. Daily Use: I use the heck out of this treadmill, and after two years it's still going strong. It has a lifting mechanism that puts the running deck upright for easy moving and storage. This mechanism came in handy when I moved to another apartment complex. I keep things simple; the treadmill is used only for walking or running. The many incline settings can be helpful when looking for a more intense workout. I have never used the sound system nor the fitness membership offerings from NordicTrack. Personal Opinion And Verdict: If you're on the fence about getting one, I say go ahead and splurge—provided you're going to use it to stay in shape. It's far cheaper than even the cheapest gym membership, but you need to be self-motivated to use it several times a week. Do not buy one and then keep it out of sight until it's needed. Mine is in my living room where I see it every day, which motivates me to use it several times a week. Is it a good treadmill? Hell yes, it's probably better than the ones I have tried in many gyms over the years. Will it help you lose weight and stay in shape? Absolutely, provided you use it as intended.
