Great device!
My sister has poor hearing so I got her a pair of Grado Bluetooth headphones to pair with her Sony TV. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth on Sony TVs isn’t very good, despite the expensive price tag. It dropped the connection often and pairing was hit and miss. I hooked this to the TV via the optical connection. It worked perfectly and the headphones always pair to this device with no problem at all so far. Also it allows more than one connection so you can still run her Bose TV speaker system and she can listen to her WiFi headphones at the same time. (The TV wouldn’t do that)

This product absolutely works with AirPods Pro 2 and Airpods Pro 1
I've been using this product for a few days and and I can state that it absolutely works well with both versions of Airpods Pro (1 and 2). The sound quality is excellent and if the Orbit B was the last device the Airpods connected to, then they automatically connect whenever I take the airpods out of the case. If the Orbit wasn't the last device connected to the airPods, then I need to press the Orbit's select button to connect(note that to achieve this behavior, I have my mac, iphone, and iPad configured to automatically connect to the airPods using the " if last connected to this device" setting)For those having problems pairing with airpods:- open the airpods case, and keep it open- press the search button on the Orbit,- press and HOLD the white, barely visible button on the back of airpods case- the airpods should appear in the orbit device list- on the orbit, using the up and down buttons, highlight the airPods,- press the orbit select button and you should be good- airPods Pro version 2 has volume control via swiping up and down repeatedly and quickly on the flat portion of the airpods stem. This works well with the orbit.Latency:The latency is low enough so that I rarely notice any lip sync problems relative to the TV screen. You can notice a slight audio delay when you see people clap their hands on TV, but it doesn't bother me.I bought the orbit so that I could use bluetooth earbuds simultaneously with my wired Sonos soundbar, giving me all the extra volume I need on my airpods and simultaneously keeping my family happy with their desired lower volume on the soundBar. It really accomplishes that goal.I can occasionally notice a little bit of speaker "echo", but when my airpod volume is high (which is the goal after all), the wired speakers are normal, and the airpods have noise cancellation on, it does not, in any way, limit my ability to fully understand speech. And speech btw is much clearer on the airpods for me than it ever was with the speaker system. The bit of echo is due to the fact that airpods don't support aptX, but its really not an issue for me. The airpods excellent noise cancelation helps to minimize the sound coming through from the wired speakers. You can turn that on by pressing and holding the stem control, until you here the doink sound. When I want to use the airpods with the TV when people are sleeping I can simply put the sonos on mute with the Sonos remote and the airpods continue loud and clear. The Orbit B is an excellent product.

Recommended Bluetooth Source for TV and Audio Stereo Equipment
A LOT easier to set up a use that competitors, and works very well for audio stereo and TV sources. When I had problems connecting my bluetooth headphones, I was able to resolve the problem with input from their customer service reply within a day of contact.

Works well for remote listening, but you have to mute the TV Audio output
I bought the Avantree Torus and the Avantree Orbit Pro to address three specific requirements. The system addresses a couple of those requirements perfectly, but fails on the third. I currently have the Orbit Pro connected to my Sony TV/Sony Soundbar via the Optical cable.Pro’s:Overall, the system works great to provide you with high quality remote listening capability. The low latency Bluetooth eliminates any lip-sync issues. The Torus headphones/speakers have a great sound an exceptional battery life.Con’s:Though the system uses Low Latency Bluetooth, there is still sufficient delay to create an unacceptable echo between the TV output and the headphone output. The Orbit Pro does not provide an eARC HDMI output, so you cannot connect it via HDMI if you are using an ARC/eARC Sound Bar or Home Theatre System. The remote requires a lot of pressure to control the volume. The remote is somewhat redundant, as the headphone volume up/down feature provides the same function.1) I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and watch the TV in the family room through a pass-through window. In order to hear the TV, I have to crank up the volume, which bothers my wife. With the Torus/Orbit Pro I can roam around the kitchen and hear the TV perfectly. The Torus are loud enough that my wife can still hear the sound, but the volume is low enough that it does not bother her. Also, if it does start to bother her, the Torus has the earbud option which silences it completely. I did a bit of research and testing before buying these, and the Low Latency of the aptX HD Bluetooth ensures there is no visible lip-sync delay. So, 5 stars for this application.2) I enjoy watching college and pro football, but my wife hates it – especially the constant continuous discussion by the sports announcers. Once again, the combination of the Torus with the Orbit Pro works perfectly. So, 5 stars for this application.3) I am retired, and have a bit of hearing loss. I have been putting off getting hearing aids and I end up listening to the TV at a fairly high volume. Even with the TV at this volume, I struggle to catch every word of the dialog. I had hoped that I could use the Torus and Orbit Pro to boost the volume for me, without making it too loud for my wife and others in the room. Unfortunately, even though the Torus/Orbit Pro use the aptX HD Low Latency Bluetooth components, there is still a delay. This delay is bad enough that I have to mute the sound from the TV and Surround sound system to use them. So, for this application, the rating falls to 1 star.
