This review is based primarily from my wife's feedback as I bought it for her, although I have used it a little myself just for testing. The first one I ordered didn't work at all, it would go dead the second it was detached from the USB charger. My wife really wanted one though, and this had great reviews, so I exchanged it for another and the second has worked great. it's well made, sturdy, and the iPad second gen clips right in. She doesn't have a pen but there is a space for one so I can't comment on how it works. It charges with a USB-C adapter, holds a charge a long time, and the keyboard itself hold the bottom of the iPad in place when it's propped open. The kickstand keeps it sturdy, the red backlight is a very good choice as it's easiest on the eyes in the dark, and once connected - itself an easy process - it works just like a regular keyboard. The volume and brightness controls reflect immediately on the iPad, the media player controls work in everything including YouTube, and it has all the command, control, alt, function and other keys from both Mac and PC keyboards. My wife has praised it over and over, and sometimes when using it will say 'I love this keyboard' or 'this keyboard is so great.' It has converted the iPad into a not-quite PC and really expanded, at least for her, what it can be used for. Once we got one that worked, it has worked great.

I was originally looking just for an external keyboard to use with my new iPad. I am very glad that I decided to purchase this case with magnetic keypad. Keypad is very easy to sync to your iPad. The outside case is very protective of your iPad . There is no need to purchase an additional case or cover for your iPad with this, and you have an external keyboard to use. Has excellent charge time and can be recharged quickly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for either a case or external keyboard for their iPad. Reasonably priced and good quality.

I have been using this case for a couple months now. I am a full-time student so I am taking this everywhere I go on a daily basis and taking notes everyday. It works for what it is meant for; standing your iPad up, holding your pencil, and typing notes. It is very easy to put away and take out. The keyboard is pretty cool with the backlight and different colors and the fact that you can remove it and use it at a farther distance. My only complaint is that the keyboard seems to have functionality issues when pressing the buttons. If you’re continually typing it will seem to stay on and keep working. But if you are watching a video or stop using the keyboard for a few seconds, it kind of disconnects and won’t work. I see this happen usually when I watch videos where I will press the space bar to pause and unpause, but the keyboard won’t work. It will pause and then won’t unpause for a few seconds afterwards. It does get annoying after using it this way for a while.

I like this device and keyboard. It is a very good value, and the keyboard is handy for searching for information, I'm a keyboard person and do not talk with my devices. I was given an old iPad from 2019 which still works fine for Kindle but the touch screen is sometimes iffy. The iPod is up to date with the latest IOS.

Haswithstoof my child using the tablet and screen and back is still in amazing condition! Definitely works.

In addition to the original review. 1. Sometimes it is necessary to turn the keyboard off and on again to restore the connection. 2. The product description says: "After 2-3 hours of full charge, the wireless keyboard stands by for 90 days." I don't know if I have a defective copy, but the keyboard needs to be charged after a few days of not very intensive use. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It seems to be a fairly high-quality product, which, admittedly, takes some time getting used to. There are two small flaws that I would like to point out. The first one is that when the iPad is placed at a more or less comfortable angle, it is quite unstable when held in the lap. Another flaw - small, but extremely annoying - is the Delete key, which locks the iPad and is located right above Backspace, and where at least my finger always goes instead of Backspace. I don't know if this key can be turned off - if it could, I would do it immediately. Still, especially considering the price, I recommend this keyboard.

I have had this keyboard for 5 months. Its clunky to use, and the battery life sucks, but its so much cheaper than the apple keyboard, I figured "hey, you get what you pay for - after all it is less than half the price of the apple keyboard". I definitely missed my old Apple Keyboard. It was lighter and plugged directly into the iPad so no need for a bluetooth connection and no separate wire to charge so I decided to just "live with it". But after 5 months, the "G", the "H", the "spacebar" and the arrow keys just stopped working. Other keys worked so it wasnt the connection. Its just the shoddy construction of the keyboard. But the icing on the cake, is that I cannot even figure out how to contact the seller and ask about warranty. Their chatbot just leads me to "Talk to Amazon". What a piece of excrement!

Love it. Keyboard is a great value and works very well. Would buy again!

Both my kids got one of these and they love the fact that they can use it with the keyboard or take it off and just use it with the cover. Case is sturdy and it has the spot for a drawing pen. Great stand if you are just watching something and not actively using the tablet. I recommend this case.

The folio is a bit larger and heavier than I expected, but very functional. It is well made with a fully detachable magnetic keyboard, which is practical. The touch on the keys does not seem to be as precise as my previous folio (Logitec) but it works well. It’s very easy to charge and I love the back lit keyboard

Pretty good quality, both the case and keyboard. The magnets are surprisingly strong, it keeps things in place perfectly. Neither the keyboard nor my IPad slide around, I even have a little bit of a hard time removing the keyboard. Which I’m not mad about. The keyboard is small and thin but works well, doesn’t randomly disconnect and there isn’t any lag. I kind of wish there was a slot or somewhere to put the keyboard when not in use, but other than that. I have no complaints about this product. It works well for my needs and it’s reasonably priced.

Thus keyboard pairs well with my iPad, however sometimes when I am typing the key that was pressed does not appear on the screen. This only happens once in a while. Maybe human error??? Would have been nice if it had a track pad.
