Raid 2, the / Raid, The: Redemption - Set - Blu-ray + Digital

These movies are incredible. I watch them all the time and never get tired of it. And there are 2 of them!! Such an amazing blessing these are graced upon the martial arts loving society. They use a martial arts style called Pencak Silat and is now one of my favorite forms of martial arts. It is a lot of aggressive movements and is all about overwhelming the person you are fighting. There is not much of a story to the first one but it does not even matter the action is so good. The choreography is amazing and I now see every movie the actors are in with hopes of seeing more of their fight scenes. The main character and one of the bad guys are the choreographers to the movie. If you like John Wick watch these movies because they are just as amazing. They are not in English but seriously. INCREDIBLE MOVIES.

Two of the best action movies ever made. The Raid is fast, simple and brutal, while the sequel expands the story and offers the same incredible action. Must have films for the man in your life. These are dubbed,would like to find original ckpies with subtitles to hear the original voices.

Blu-Ray looks great & the price was right! Another great addition to my growing collection. Special features are exceptional as well.

These are two of the best action movies I’ve ever seen and I watch at least one of them about once a month. Would be 5 stars but I recently tried the included digital access codes and only the one for the first movie worked. Blu-Ray works just fine, it’s just the digital code.

Some of the the besr action and fight scenes ever put to film and because of a flash sale i got both movies for $12 but they are well worth their regular price. If you like action buy this NOW! The Netflix show Daredevil basically stole this movies fighting style and way of filming but this movie clearly has better trained people because they move absurdly fast without tons of camera cuts and the camera isnt so close you dont know whats happening. It was filmed really well. You always know where every character is in the environment which is very important for a great fight scene. A must watch for sure.

Keeping it brief, these 2 movies kick every kind of ass. True the attempt at a deep, complex storyline in the 2nd film kind of drags it out, but otherwise these films perfectly bookend 1 another. A standout about both of these films is how much they push the envelope in violence & gore. Rather than treat bodies like throw away tissues, the films force you to look at the consequences of violence firsthand, often brutally. Even our heroes aren't immune, & even carry scars from the 1st film into the 2nd 1. The storyline is basically about corruption, loyalty & betrayal in both the Worlds of law & crime .. but that's not what we're really watching these for, right?

The Second movie in this pack can't be played in this area of the world.

I owned these two movies separately on dvd since they came out but upgraded to blu-ray since my dvds wore out. Its showed up surprisingly fast and in great condition.

There are violent movies and there is THE RAID. Saying this movie is just violent is like saying a plane can fly. Yest it flies but you have to be there to feel the experience. You have to see THE RAID to appreciate the coreography, the stunts and the non-stop-right-in-the-face action. Think about the best martial arts fight scenes you have seen in movies, put them on steroids, and you'll get closer to this movies. Instant cult movie for any martial arts fan.
