What to do when your son comes to you and says that his L3 button does not work and he can't play Fortnite, well, you come to Amazon and purchase this pack. Not sure if they are originals or not but they look identical to the part they replace. However, a word of warning, the switch that is install in the Dualshock is VERY difficult to desolder and you will need desoldering station or sucker to remove it, or at least I did. This replacement slotted straight in and now L3 button is working again and there is no ghosting whilst playing. I found that it is slightly stiffer than the one it replaces, however, not sure if this is due to the older one being softer due to wear and if this one will be the same in a few months.

The right-hand joystick of my DualSense controller became reluctant to move smoothly so I replaced it with one of these. The repair was rather difficult. Opening the controller was no problem but removing the old joystick module was a real challenge -- 14 points to desolder, 4 of which require extra heat because they are attachment points for the metal frame -- and I ended up cutting the metal frame after which it eventually came out. The new module fitted perfectly and I resoldered and reassembled. Now the controller works smoothly again but fine control is nonexistent as there seems to be some hysteresis: Move the stick and nothing happens until you move it some more. This makes accurate aiming impossible. I cannot tell whether this is a problem with the joystick module itself, or whether I damaged something on the motherboard while struggling to get the old module off.

I bought these to try and fix a couple of controllers I have lying around due to the dreaded stick drift.I have no experience soldering and thought it would be fun. These pieces fit perfectly within the Xbox one controller. On gamepad tester they don’t move as smoothly as the original component and they don’t feel as good to use but are still useable, also on gamepad tester they aren’t aligned perfectly, I might be nitpicking, but they work well with no stick drift. I must put as a side note that I haven’t used the controller for a prolonged period so I'm not sure if they will hold up over time.

All the one star reviews are nothing they have incorrectly installed them like I did the first time however I did it again they had a tiny bit of drift but they just needed recallibrating

I had been having really bad stick drift in the right stick of my Series X controller. Tried the fixes online and cleaning the potentiometer discs but this didn't solve it. Once I had used this product to garner a replacement potentiometer/metal disc and put it in the stick drift was gone. I can't believe it worked but it did, saved £50 on new controller.

A fair amount of stick drift straight out of the box. For fine control stuff this is terrible, I would not suggest these, despite the good reviews - the risk is too high if you get a bad one (you'll end up doing the replacement twice when you buy Hall effect replacements)

Réparation de manette ps4. Je les ai achetés non pas pour souder mais juste pour récupérer les pièces qui font contact quand on manœuvre les joysticks et qui s’usent causant le drift. Résultat immédiat de n quelques minutes.
