Edited 12/16/2021 After about a year of use, just short of a year, the clips that hold the light to the head band cracked and one broke off completely. I figured I was past warranty and just wanted to purchase a new headband and hooks. I use this light almost every day and really like it. Holds a good charge, provides the light I need to do the work I do and I am very satisfied with what I thought for the price would be a piece of junk that wouldn't last 90 days. This is well built, if there is a shortcoming it is the hooks that hold the metal flashlight to the headband. So I wrote the company after not finding a replacement band and they asked I send photos of the damaged parts and the very next day I get an email telling me they are sending me a complete replacement unit. They quickly responded to my first email and immediately followed up with the offer of a refund or replacement. Heck yea I will take a replacement. I was going tape the light to the headband, but now I'll keep that one as a backup and baby the new one a bit more. I highly recommend this company. I cannot ask for a better outcome. I am not a flashlight or LED expert. I didn't measure the output of this headlamp. I just compared it to my much more expensive Fenix headlamp and for almost 10% of the cost this lamp is very impressive. It is built well, works well and after adjustment fit my head well. Time will tell how it holds up. I have had my Fenix for over a year and it continues to work well. The fenix has red LED's too that I never use. So comparing light to light this one actually seems brighter to me. I will report back if any issues come up but after a couple days I will say this is a great deal, good product and their customer service is highly responsive and friendly. I will be looking at some of their other products just based on their customer service.

I use the light for night deliveries, which comes in handy since porch lights were made illegal. Or, at least, I assume that's why none of you use them them?! The light is plenty bright. Build quality's solid. It's made of metal and feels substantial without being heavy. (I forget I'm wearing it sometimes.) The clips holding the light on are made of plastic and reviews mention them as a point-of-failure. I could see that, maybe. If that happens, I'll update this review. (Maybe... Probably not.) The strap is comfortable, but I wear it over a hat. Also, it just looks nice. Compared to other models that look like hacky sci-fi props, this has a nice, low-key utilitarian aesthetic that I really like. Even the Foxelli logo is cool, and understated. I used it in pouring rain the other night. Thing got soaked over and over again, but didn't have any trouble. Been using it on-and-off for about a week now, and the battery's still going strong. For the price I paid (around $17) it's great! I don't any other headlamps to compare this to, but I'm very happy with it. My only gripe -- and it's a small one -- is the power button's behavior. I would prefer if pressing the button turned the light on, and pressing it again turned it off. Instead, pressing the button turns the light on, pressing it again makes it brighter, and pressing it again turns it off. You can leave the light on for 10+ seconds to lock-in your desired brightness, but, I'm mostly just clicking it on to look around for a house number and then clicking it back off. So, that feature never really helped me.

Good light, magnet is completely useless. It will not attach to anything.

Works very well. I'm a huge fan of the 18650 approach. Rechargeable and I can bring a few spares. Cheap, and you can even pull old ones from old laptop batteries (standard shock warning and you should use a charger/discharger with voltage measure). Straps are removable (I removed the top-strap). Getting them back in is trickier. Brightness is good, and I didn't realize it's not just Hi/Lo, you can hold the power button to step through about 5 levels. Also the power button is a battery-level LED indicator. Pretty nifty. Lowest brightness is perfect for a tent and promises >24hrs. If you keep the brightness level for 10secs, it remembers the level between power cycles - great for the in-between levels you set that aren't Hi (100%) and Lo (50%), it would be annoying to have to step down all the time to 20%. Might be my favorite feature. Most of the housing is metal but some durable plastic also, feels very sturdy. Vertical beam angle is adjustable by rotating the lamp in headstrap housing. The lamp is only slightly larger than the battery, can definitely use as a handheld. Very snug in that housing. Produces buzzing noise, louder on brighter settings. With the buzzing there's always a little voice in the back of my head scaring me into thinking I've strapped an explosive device to my head. So, don't use a cheap battery, and don't wear it while charging with the USB cable overnight :P Magnet on it could definitely come in handy working with tiny screws (laptop etc) around the house. Pretty interesting feature. Came with some plastic clips that attach to the headstrap and then has other clips for something tubular - haven't figured out what that's for yet. Also came with 2 stickers of their logo; pretty neat design if you're into stickers. Happy I went with this overall.

At this price, this is a really good flashlight. The magnet that's underneath one of the caps, is not strong enough to hold itself up. It is rechargeable (chord included) but, I like the ability to just switch out the battery with a fresh one and then have my extra 1 charging on the charger.
