I'm definitely happy to have made the decision to splurge on such a small item. The pin shafts are smooth, the plastic tab is big enough for you to easily grab. Also I like that the tab colors are visible shades for those pesky moments where I accidentally drop a pin to the floor. I hate using the ones with the pearl drop ends because even with the colored ends, I still have a hard time finding them if they're dropped on carpeting because it's like looking for a tiny dot.
