I'd be willing to pay extra for a left handed sheath.** A: I’m not sure what their offering are for lefties however I am a lefty and I prefer this sheath on my left and when I draw the knife it is reverse draw and defense ready. If I am not in defense situation when I draw I simply change the knife position in my hand and whittle away. For what it’s worth. **Q: My son is left-handed. Is this beveled on both sides?** A: It's a symmetrical handle and blade, so it will work for either hand. (Not that I'm sure it would matter if the blade was beveled to the opposite side anyway???) **Q: will this knife float if dropped in the water?** A: I put water in sink, put knife in and it sank to the bottom.
