I am a traveling nail tech so i need something to organize my bits, i don't want them to fall out when i open the lid, will they stay in the holes?

They will, as long as the box stays right side up. The lid closes securely. If you think it might roll around while you travel, you could put some foam inside the upper lid which would ensure the smaller bits would not move around.
